An absolute gem of a find !! If you are looking for a peaceful, calming, private yet a twenty minute drive from anything you want or need, quality downtime , then this is your spot. The pictures gives you a hint of the breathtaking waterbody but nothing comes close to the reality. Fabulous place ! Highly recommend the host and the property !! We can’t wait to be back !

We truly enjoyed our time here- This place is so special, and I’m sure that’s because of all the love and care the owners have poured into it. You can feel the warmth and positive energy in every corner of the house.

With 180 degree water views, what could be better?! We saw birds, incredible sunrises over the bay, and enjoyed sunset in the hot tub. It’s just right for a long weekend getaway to relax and unwind!

It ought to be a collection of Such's and So's. Such a nice place and so quiet. So well decorated with taste and quality materials. Such a relaxing spot so close to the water. So so so good cookies and muffins. And last but not least, so nice people. Very lively and cheerfull Tanya, very calm, quiet and peacefull John (still amazed, 40 years later and apparently, by his wife who may still have more energy than any soldier he faced throughout his carreer . Is there any use to add we enjoyed very much being there and highly recommend the Birds nest ? Daniel

We were delightfully pleased with our stay here. The house was clean and comfortably fit our 3 adults and 2 kids. We were happy with the “extras” like having our linens and towels cleaned and wrapped in plastic, shampoo/conditioner, kitchen stocked with cookware, and the decor. The best part was the view and proximity to the water. The pictures do not do the sunset justice. We will definitely come back.

The location was beautiful and the home was very cozy. Sitting on the screened porch, reading and enjoying the view of the yard and water was good for the soul. It was very quiet and we had all the amenities we needed.

Absolutely amazing house and location!! Our family had an incredible week spent enjoying the property & views, spending time watching the sunsets by the fire, and kayaking around the bay. It's a great spot to teach kids to paddle and our 7 and 9-year old both enjoyed learning on the still waters near the sandy beach. The property and house are both thoughtfully designed and have so many spots to relax, read, watch the birds, and take in the views - made it feel like there was never a reason to leave. We had an incredibly peaceful week and would love to visit again!!

We loved the house; cozy, nicely decorated, with many pieces of original art that really added character. The kitchen is well stocked for those who like to cook. The location right on the water was wonderful, and Nancy provided kayaks, which we took advantage of. Our dog was beside himself with so much room to run. Nancy’s daughter and family live next door, and we spent quite a few hours enjoying conversation and local knowledge with them. We would go back again.

The area and view are beautiful and the home's decor is welcoming. The home was very comfortable for our family group and had a VERY well-stocked kitchen. The master bed was VERY comfortable as were the rest of the beds. My husband and I slept well. We all felt at home. MJ was very responsive when I had questions and communicated about the property in clear, concise language. The host provided many outdoor recreation opportunities, which included paddleboards, kayaks, and life jackets. There was a nice sized pool but we were visiting out of season so we did not use it. The exercise room downstairs has a lot of equipment. We all enjoyed our time together. Our family is asking to come back again next year. Thanks for a great stay!

Very Peaceful neighborhood Pauls house is very close to the water end of the road with nearly no traffic when we were there. neighborhood is extremely walkable loved having the porch, large gas grill and hot tub next to the home with view of the bay. All 3 rooms had large comfortable beds. house was clean. well kept. There is a retail center about 2. 5 miles away with a GIant" Grocery store and a few doors down a quality wine and spirit shop. My family loved the city of Annapolis and Very Happy we chose to stay at Pauls home.

Sandy Feet Retreat in Colonial Beach was a great place to take my daughter and the grandkids for a 3 day Spring Break holiday. The condo was beautifully furnished and very well located on the boardwalk. My family loved having access to the beach right outside the condo and spent many hours collecting shells and sea glass. Fishing from the pier was a thrill for my grandson. I enjoyed peaceful mornings on the balcony and evening time there listening to the waves each day. Thank you Brittany for everything you do to assure a lovely stay for your guests.

The Laughing King (and the Honeymoon Island Cottage in particular) were fantastic! A wonderful quick getaway from DC for couples. The property is gorgeous - a farm with a historic old house that is the main lodge, surrounded by hundred-year-old oak trees, a standalone cottage (that we stayed in for 3 nights), open fields, a saltwater pool, and private beach with dock and a boat and SUPs for guest use. MJ serves up gourmet breakfasts (eggs Benedict, avocado toast, French toast, quiche, etc. over the course of our stay) + coffee in the morning and also dished out recommendations on local spots to visit. 100% will be back!

Space was great for our family and larger than depicted in photos. Access to the beach was easy and stunning.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Melissa’s place. As soon as you walk in, you feel right at home. She has thought of every possible thing you could need while there. The views were absolutely magnificent and while the beach area is available to the public, it felt super private. My daughters and I plan to come here every year. I had to peel them away from the bay. Melissa, thank you for accommodating us. This was a weekend my girls and I desperate needed and your home was the perfect place to have peace and intentional quality time. Thank you so much!!

This was a wonderful getaway for my family and friends. We had two toddlers that loved the river beach and pool. There were plenty of toys to keep the kids and adults busy!

Beautiful location on the water with all the amenities one could ask for. Thanks for having games and jigsaw puzzles (with all the pieces!). Gracious and responsive hosts who made sure we felt welcome and at home. We’ll be back!

I stayed at this incredible house with my friend, and it was truly an amazing experience. The house was spotless, with everything perfectly organized and easy to find. Having rented at least 10 houses in the Mineral area, I can confidently say this one was the best by far. The cinema and jacuzzi were fantastic additions that everyone enjoyed. Not only did the kids have a blast, but the adults also had an amazing time. The deck with kayaks and stand-up paddleboards was exactly as described, and everyone had an amazing time using them. This house exceeded all our expectations and provided a memorable stay. Highly recommended!

The home was easy to find and very clean. We loved the beachfront and peaceful surroundings. We've been to Gloucester before and it is a cute little place to explore and has what you need. I would definitely choose this airbnb again if in the area! Thank you for sharing!

Responsive and communicative via AirBnb app. Open to small changes we had to make. Beautiful house and wonderful neighborhood. Everything as described and reasonable price. Truly provided the BnB part of AirBnb with linens, cleaning/cooking supplies, and bathroom supplies. Very scenic. The pictures don't do it justice when it comes to the proximity of the dock. It is right outside the window of the master bedroom.

My family really enjoyed our stay! The most amazing part of the home is the private beach right outside your back door! Absolutely beautiful to wake up to the sunrise each morning. The location was great, quick drive into town (under 10 minutes) where you have access to incredible restaurants, pubs, shopping and the Naval Academy rich with history. Also easy access to supermarkets, pharmacies…etc. this was our first trip to Annapolis and the house and location did not disappoint. The hosts were very kind and responsive and the house felt very cozy with lots of natural light and amenities.

Very clean house, spacious, beautiful views, and a well equipped kitchen. The beds were comfortable and new. We will definitely visit again!

Blue Heron Hideaway was a wonderful getaway for our two families. We only left to get groceries and visit the nearby public state park. We could have stayed for weeks watching the sunrise and sunset over the water. The location was perfect in a new, quiet neighborhood. The lawn was large enough for sports in the morning and the driveway was used for roller blading in the afternoons. The house had everything we could have asked for back home. We can't wait to go back....!

We booked this beautiful beachfront home for my husband's birthday, and it was perfect. Check-in was seamless, and the breathtaking water view greeted us upon entry. The house was spotless and peaceful, with only the soothing sound of waves. We enjoyed most meals in the sunroom overlooking the water and took advantage of the outdoor seating as the weather warmed. Fawn, a great coffee and breakfast/lunch spot, was just five minutes away. The well-equipped kitchen allowed us to cook fresh seafood from Little River Seafood. Mornings were magical with stunning sunrises, and the nearby beach access was perfect for walks, yoga, and birdwatching. A highlight was Hughlett Point, a hidden nature preserve 30-40 minutes away, leading to a secluded beach with only 11 parking spots.
