Welcome to Republic!Our private guest suite is perfect for a short or long stay in our mountain town of Republic. We are located at the top of a hill with a view, yet only a five minute walk to the downtown main road. The Republic Brewing Company is a quick walk (or skip) from the suite. The Stonerose Fossil dig site is a two minute walk. There are many hiking and biking trails within a 15-30 minute drive from town! The border crossing is only 32 miles away as well. The suite has a private keypad entrance, and is situated in the downstairs level of our home. The private back entrance welcomes you into the living and dining room area, with a kitchenette stocked with some local favorites. The kitchenette is set up with a toaster oven, coffee pot, freezer/fridge, glassware/mugs and dinnerware. We keep the pellet wood stove filled and ready to turn on for heat during cold nights. There is also a baseboard heat thermostat in each room. The first bedroom has a firmer queen sized bed. A memory foam topper is available if you prefer, just let us know. The living room also has a sofa bed with a memory foam topper. There is a bathroom with all the essential amenities and a standing shower with great water pressure. A washer, dryer, and utility sink is located in the suite for your use. Your private backyard and patio is separated from our upstairs deck. You have access to a grill for cooking, patio seating, and a hammock. Make yourself at home! Parking is available on site.

Enjoy a 1/3 mile of the San Poil River on the property, a short walk from the cottage. Here in the country you will enjoy quiet, peace & solitude. Geo Cache, Treasure Hunt Adventure, swim, fish, hike, snowshoe, relax, hot tub, bird watch, star gaze & view wildlife. We live on the property, but will respect how much interaction you want.
