Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Río Grande

Perfect location right next to the pool and beach access. It was easy to get to every place we wanted and the parking was right next to the building. I spent most evenings on the patio with the gorgeous view of the sea, listening to the water. So relaxing! When there was an electric outage across the island, Josue let us know up to date news. He had just installed a backup generator that lasted 7 hours with low usage. When it ran out, he came and installed a backup battery and brought 3 low electric usage fans (they were excellent!) … all within 20 minutes. An outage was exactly what I worried about - the baby had refrigerated medicine - but Josue was immediately responsive. No need to worry because of all the backup systems Josue had in place including his immediate responsiveness. The apartment had beach toys, chairs, an umbrella, pool floaties … just everything you could need to be comfortable. We hope to come back!

Really appreciate Hugo for all that he did. My family and I had to book this Airbnb last minute and he accepted right away and even allowed us to check in early. My family is very appreciative and we hope to stay here again in the future! Thank you!!

Definitely felt like home the moment my family and I arrived there. The kids love the fact that the beach was in our backyard. The host was responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay there again and fully recommend.

Our recent stay in Puerto Rico was fantastic, thanks in large part to this wonderful Airbnb. The entire place was spotlessly clean, showcasing the host's exceptional attention to detail. With a toddler, a teenager, and two additional adults in our group, comfort was a priority, and this property delivered. The rooms were perfectly sized, giving each of us enough space to relax without feeling overcrowded. Working remotely, I needed a stable internet connection, and I was impressed by the reliability—it handled my Zoom calls seamlessly, ensuring clear audio and video. The location is a dream for beach lovers, right in front of the ocean, and we enjoyed the convenience of having several restaurants just a short walk away. The security at the property was reassuring; the guards were always attentive and supportive. This stay made our trip to Puerto Rico truly memorable!

Me encantó el apartamento de Jorge. El "check in" fue muy fácil. Todo estaba limpio y ordenado. El apartamento es igual a las fotos, muy bonito y moderno. Ya me había quedado en este complejo, pero el apartamento de Jorge ha sido el más acogedor, me sentía en mi casa, y así mismo lo traté, y lo dejé ordenado. Definitivamente volvería a quedarme aquí. 100% recomendado.

Our family of seven, including three children and two grandparents had a great weeklong stay here. The first floor location, right next to the pool and playground were perfect for our group. The unit looks exactly like the pictures and had everything needed for a beach vacation - beach chairs, bag chairs, umbrella, sand toys, cooler, etc. We enjoyed the beach at the end of the complex and a couple of nearby beaches with calm water for the kids and older adults. The market right outside the condo at the main road had many of the essentials we needed and we were able to pick up everything else at the walmart about 20 minutes away. The location is perfect for those wanting to spend time at the rainforest, beach and old san juan. We had a great stay and would definitely book again.

Let me start by saying that this place was definitely as pictured and we felt right at home. The views were beautiful of the mountains and you could see a little bit of the ocean. Opening both balcony’s let in such a nice breeze from all directions. Unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy the pool or the beach since I rained most of our trip but overall we enjoyed our stay. I didn’t notice that there was no elevator when booking so pack on the lighter side. Unless you want the workout. Overall would definitely stay again, Nicholas was such a great host and always responded and checked in on us ❤️

Carmens home is just what my family needed. It's beautiful and the Ocean is at your back door. I did not want to leave. The kids enjoyed the pool and volleyball court. My husband and I love the cute home and had everything and more we needed. Private gated safe with security 24 hours and close to the everything you need. We cant wait to stay again at Carmen's place. The place was super clean and not one bug, clean dishes and clean blankets that smell like fresh laundry! Thank you, Carmen, for opening your home to us!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The margaritaville resort was very nice and clean, had lots of chairs by the pool and beach, grounds were well maintained. The beach was very clean and private! We only had breakfast at the resort but the buffet was great. We had a car which was pretty essential as the area is not walkable. We would love to stay here again sometime!

Not a single thing to complain about! We checked in smoothly and a front desk agent ended up chasing us to the elevator to apologize deeply for the mix up on their end of giving us a rainforest view and not ocean (i didn’t know we were supposed to be getting a specific view). The resort ended up giving us a $100 credit to use at the multiple beautiful resort restaurants/ bars as an apology! Score! Our room was stunning and had plenty of space. The kitchenette was great. If we ever end up here again, I’d definitely book this room again!

Adriana’s place was perfect for our girl’s trip. We loved the location - secluded and close to the private beach. It was also close to other beaches too! We felt safe since it was a gated community. The beds were comfortable, but it is true that the twin bed isn’t really a third bedroom. The patio was wonderful to hang on in the mornings/evenings while relaxing, especially the hammock. There were only 3 beach chairs provided, which was a bit of a bummer for our group of 4. We would definitely recommend this place to others!

Miguel and is Airbnb were phenomenal. He was professional and exceeded all expectations throughout the duration of our stay. Clear and concise instructions, fast response time, etc. This Airbnb felt just like I was still at home and it was very comforting/easy. We thank Miguel for his listing that was available for making this vacation well worth it. I would book again with Miguel in the future when we go back to PR! We loved our stay so much! This was a great fit for our family of seven. We had lots of beds and plenty of space for everyone. Everything was clean and the furniture was really nice and everything was well taken care of. We really appreciated how there were lots of things there for us to use, like a cooler for us to take our lunches in every day on our adventures, chairs , umbrella, Sand toys, balls — all the things that we could possibly need. Gretchen was really easy to communicate with and always responded very quickly. We would definitely recommend this for anybody! We had a great time. Thank you so much.

The environment was private, relaxing and peaceful. Nelson had the home ready with many extras for the kids. The pool was really nice, the bbq, the beds are very comfortable, great air conditioning and the best part the location had everything near by, restaurants, lake, beach and a huge shopping mall. Nelson was the perfect host. I will be returning.

We had an amazing 10-day stay at Larry’s place in Luquillo! The location is absolutely perfect—just a one-minute walk to a stunning beach with both fun waves for surfing and a more relaxed spot for lounging and swimming. It was such a peaceful and beautiful area, and we loved being able to walk to the beach whenever we wanted. The home itself is a great base for exploring the island. We did several day trips and found it super convenient to get around from Luquillo. One of our favorite parts of the stay was the abundance of fresh fruit around the property. We were hoping the guanábana would ripen while we were there, but it kept us guessing! My daughter especially loved checking for fresh eggs each morning—such a fun and unique touch to the experience. Overall, Larry is a fantastic host, and this place has a wonderful, laid-back vibe that made our trip to Puerto Rico really special. Highly recommend!

Staying at Alan’s house was truly a highlight of our trip to Puerto Rico! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we could ask for—including a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and fast Wi-Fi. Alan was a fantastic host—communicative, friendly, and thoughtful. He gave us great local recommendations and left gifts for my birthday in the house champagne, house slippers and face masks for me and my party of 6 to make us feel extra special. He also accommodated a late check out! The location was ideal too—peaceful and relaxing, yet close to beaches, restaurants, and attractions. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re heading to Puerto Rico, don’t hesitate—book Alan’s place. We’d come back in a heartbeat!
