Come and stay in a lovely spacious suite located in our house, nestled on the mountain side above Kootenay Lake. The suite is on the ground floor with its own entrance. 2 spacious bedrooms with queen beds, a full kitchen with amazing garden and forest views and a comfortable living and dining room with a cozy pellet stove for cool evenings. We are located a short drive from numerous beaches and endless hiking trails. There is no walking access to the lake. We have been trying to change the ad.

Kootenay Lake is 125km long,situated between the Selkirk Range and the Purcell Range and surrounded by wilderness. Swim,Kayak,canoe,sail,mountain bike,cycle, golf,ski, x-country ski ! it's all close by. Centrally situated to get to Nelson,Ainsworth hot Springs,Kaslo,Whitewater ski hill....

A Peaceful and Private Studio Suite

A beautiful suite nestled in nature. It is located just outside of Balfour with access to the ferry landing, balfour store, a gas station and bakery. Ainsworth Hotsprings is a short 15 min drive, Kokanee Creek Provincial Park is 10 minutes away and Balfour Golf Course is even closer! Nelson and all its amenities is about a 25 minute jaunt. 4 wheel drive is recommended during winter weather as the last little stretch is a little steeper. Winter weather can be unpredictable.

Cedar Cottage - A private, natural experience

The Cedar Cottage is a 1 bedroom, cozy and romantic cottage with all the needed amenities. Numerous windows allow ample light in with the feeling of being nestled in the trees. A covered garage is provided for guests to park. Beautiful deck nestled in the cedars with glimpses of the Purcell Mountain range and Kootenay Lake. Access world class mountain bike trails or walk the river trail right from the Cedar Cottage.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This is a 12' by 40' air conditioned modular home with one bedroom. There is a pocket door so another sleeping area on a roll out couch on the other end. There is also another roll out couch in the living room. There is also an unattached bunkie with one queen & bunk beds. Ample parking (a trailer could also be parked here however no septic drain).

4Mile Ski Cabin - Discounts 3 nights or more.

This creekfront ski cabin is private & feels secluded yet close to all that Nelson has to offer. A 1 min walk to a sandy beach; 5 min drive to town along the picturesque shoreline of Kootenay Lake; 25-30 min to the ski resort; or 30 min to Ainsworth Hotsprings. Perfect for Kootenay adventures or remote workers (fibre optic internet 1000 Mbps). Additional $50/night for a 3rd guest. Sorry, no pets.
