I had an amazing stay at Michael's. The rooms are ultra stylish, the bed so comfy you won't want to leave and I love that you can bring your wine up from the pub/dining room below. Michael was a fantastic host who offered tips on places to visit and even brought me a Nutella donut for desert. Can't recommend this highly enough and look forward to returning!

This place was AWESOME. Great history and a fun overall vibe down in the pub. What a cool place.

Stayed at Micheals place for just the one night. What a great pub! stay for a few drinks in the evening and our dinner was excellent. Would recommend for anyone riding the great ocean road like I was :)

We absolutely adored staying here!! It's the most incredible place. A stunning revamped pub in the middle of nowhere, we were made to feel extremely welcome and pampered by Michael and Richard. It was excellently styled and felt almost curated given all the gorgeous and thoughtful details: home made mince pies, vintage vogue magazines, complimentary muesli for breakfast, fluffy robes, lots of fun lamps, and stellar tea/coffee making facilities. Shoutout to the bath products; they were super nice (shampoo, conditioner, hair masque, body wash, and moisturiser). We had dinner in the pub on our first night (which happened to be new year's eve), and the pizza was top notch. Despite being a tiny town of around 150 people, the pub was quite busy with visiting families, and the atmosphere was lively for both nights of our stay. It's a great location to stay if you want to visit the 12 apostles but don't want to pay an arm and a leg for sub-par accom, and you want to check out some awesome scenery on the way (like the inactive volcano in the heart of town). I wish we could have stayed longer! Came all the way over from Perth and we are already trying to find a reason to come back to rural Victoria just to stay here.

Very nice and big house to roam around, with all the amenities, especially the coffee machine. There are also apples and cookies. Hosts very friendly and ready to talk and help. If you don't mind the drive (about one hour from Port Cambell) and pitch dark night in the wild ( they do have a bar downstairs to kill time), this is the place to stay and enjoy.
