This location was beautiful. But seriously, READ THE DESCRIPTION DAN PROVIDES BEFORE RENTING. We did, and as a result had a great one-night stay without too many surprises. The good: (1) The view of the forest from your cabin and the village is absolutely beautiful; (2) You are…

My boyfriend I were glad to only stay one night at the A-Frame and eco-village. We arrived an hour before dark and while we found our cabin, finding our host was a different story. When we went to find our him and introduce ourselves, we accidentally interrupted a community meeti…

The a-frame cabin was truly magical. It was tiny and cozy and overlooking the trees, and we could see the moon from the window. It was a bit of a rough drive through the woods and I was nervous about the small bridge that we had to drive over, but our little Toyota Corolla handle…

Overall, I would say that this was a fun experience. The cabin was SO cute and the people living in the village could not have been friendlier. They offered us plenty of fruit, and anything else we needed from their stores. I will say that we had quite a frustrating experience tr…

Response from Dan:
Sorry to hear of your trouble finding the cabin! We have updated the photo in the listing, added signs along the driveway and installed a giant map at the entrance to the village. Also updated the directions to include dimensions for the bridge and to recommend people bring a flashlight if arriving at night. Thanks for your suggestions and for being guinea pigs on the adventure!

What a gem of a listing! We absolutely loved staying in the A-frame; although it is tiny it was clean and comfortable and as beautiful as in the pictures. We actually squeezed 3 people into it and were totally comfortable (although I wouldn't recommend that unless you are all s…

We loved this airBnB, but we wish we could've stayed to enjoy it more. As posted, the route in is quite tricky, especially at night, which is when we came in. So arrive by day, as Jane, Dan and Nick suggest! Unfortunately no one was there to welcome us when we arrived, but Nick c…
