Smokeless Fire Pit
As part of your Island experience, we are pleased to offer the complimentary use of our firepit with comfortable seating for four people and up to 6 (six) people. You can sit back and enjoy the views of the Red Head fishing wharf and the water views across the bay to Greenwich National Park and out to the Gulf of St Lawrence. Please, do not leave the fire unattended.
Kayak
We have a complimentary single kayak available during your stay at Dune Vista Cottage. It is a mandatory house rule to wear a PFD (life jacket) while using the kayak. The PFD is provided for your use and located in the closet on the left as you enter from the back entry of the guesthouse. The use of the kayak is at your own risk. We ask that the kayak be rinsed off after each use and the PFD be aired and dried outside. Please, do not bring sand or any dripping wet clothes into the guesthouse. It is only a very short stroll down to the beach.
Wood Fired Hot Tub
For an additional fee, we are pleased to offer our wood fired hot tub made from 100% Canadian red cedar that seats 4 people comfortably. The fully lined hot tub takes approximately 3 to 4 hours to heat. This, of course, depends upon your temperature preference. If you are an experienced wood burning hot tub enthusiast, please discuss with the owner if you'd like to personally complete all the necessary preparations for your hot tub enjoyment. If you are unfamiliar with wood fired hot tubs, you
will require the assistance of the owners. Please do not operate the hot tub without the express written permission of the owners.
