A very homely place to stay. Loved the eclectic decor and we were well looked after by Michael. Food was great.

Really nice room and hosts. Except the distance, a perfect place to stay.

Great place to stay! Unique, welcoming and clean with thoughts spent on little details, i.e bathrobes.

My son and I were touring The Great Ocean Road mid March 2017 and decided to head inland for an overnight stay, finding Michael's place at late notice. We shared the double bed "Yellow Room" upstairs. While the room was some what small, which Michael gave us ample of notice of, the bed and room was very comfortable with all the other rooms and common areas refurbished and tastefully decorated in period decor with modern touches here and there. Attention to detail throughout; quality soaps and shampoos, hot-cross buns for breakfast, nuclear-strength coffee, freshly cut flowers, and a small library in the common room - everything combined gave the house a distinctive feel of quality and represented Michael's passion for what he likes to do.

Quirky. Unique. You just need to stay here! Our yellow room was cosy, but was packed full of cute little touches, had a super comfy bed, and was a great place to spend a few nights after exploring the Great Ocean Road. We loved the elegance of the original building, the fluffy bathrobes, the mix of period character with bang-up-to-date design features, the homely feel, and the delicious pizza served in the restaurant. We even didn't mind the shared bathroom facilities. It just added to the whole experience! Michael and Richard were awesome hosts, accommodating (can't thank you enough for de-feathering our room!), welcoming and great company. So glad we found this little gem of a place. Hope to be back one day. Highly recommended.

Just when you think you're driving away from the beautiful and majestic GOR, heading inland to rest for the night, there awaits another parcel of surprise. This bnb is a cute little place with great hosts and ambiance. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. Instead of going to bed early, we decided to grab a drink downstairs (conveniently it is a bar :D) and enjoyed the beautiful artwork on display. We also had the chance to exchanged a conversation or two with Michael and Richard who made us feel welcomed at their bnb. The place is no more than 30 min drive from any of the nearby little towns along GOR. In hindsight, we are glad that the other places that were more touristy were all booked out because we wouldn't have found this gem otherwise. Michael and Richard have great taste in art and decor. All basic amenities were definitely more than just basic with a touch of class to it. The hospitality we received was nothing less than excellent and would definitely visit again next time on GOR. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.
