Extra spacious

Guests love this home’s spaciousness for a comfortable stay.
Experience the tranquility and remoteness of desert living in this private studio suite with a kitchen, hot tub, and mature vegetation that wraps the entire porch. Use this as a base for your adventures in the area. Whether rock climbing the granite domes, strolling along abundant hiking trails in both the Dragoons and Chiricauhua mountains, exploring old mines, sipping wine at a local vineyard, or searching for local flora/fauna: relaxing after in this sanctuary is the perfect end to the day.

The space
The private two person hot tub is the highlight of the property and provides a nice evening soak.
The queen-size bed is a memory foam Casper deluxe.
The bathroom features a large slate and river stone walk-in shower.
The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking supplies, utensils, cutlery, pots, pans, dishes, and a full coffee-making spread (french press, bialetti, mochamaster). To cook, there is a BBQ, countertop air fryer/oven, crockpot, and 2 burner stove. Make sure you stock up on groceries in Willcox or Benson and prepare to cook your favorite foods. Full-size fridge. There are a few dining options in the town of Sunsites (9miles/ 15 min) away.
TV can be used with a HDMI cable to your laptop or Roku but there is no cable, satellite or steaming TV services. FiberOptic Wifi.

*****There is a shared wall between the living room of the main house and this suite

Guest access
You will have access to the entire yard but it is shared with the main house. Your porch is a private area with private entrance to the suite.

Other things to note
The roads approaching the house are gravel. A standard Prius has enough clearance but require that you drive slow. Caution in the summer after a big rain due to the mud.
This property will feel very remote to some while others will appreciate this detail.
Due to the abundance of vegetation (rosemary, wildflowers) there are bees frequenting the gardens. Living in the country also means the there will be bugs, javelina (Wild pig like animals), snakes, coyotes, and roosters.

Lives in Cochise, Arizona
SE Arizona has 300 days of sunshine a year. Perfect for my active lifestyle and passion for exploring the Dragoon Mountains. I host many traveling climbers and wrote the rock climbing guidebook to the area. The sunsets here are not to be missed whether they be from the hot tub or the top of a dome.
