Double room & private bathroom, towels supplied. Hairdryer, Freeview TV, kettle, tea/coffee, homemade biscuits & cake. Guest 'Snug'. Cooked or Continental breakfast (our hen's eggs), cereals & homemade preserves in the Dining Room. Room price £45 (single occupancy), £60 (two people sharing)

The space
Situated down a designated 'Quiet Lane' in rural South Norfolk a mile from the village of Bressingham in a hamlet of four houses just a mile from the A1066 Thetford-Diss Road and five minutes from Bloom's Steam Museum and Gardens. We are 25 miles from the city of Norwich with the Norfolk Broads, North Norfolk Coast, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Cambridge, Kings Lynn, Ipswich, Colchester, Sudbury, Lavenham and Constable Country all around an hour's drive away. There is a village shop in Bressingham offering groceries, newspapers and magazines. The market town of Diss, with its mix of small independent stores, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets is 10 minutes away by car. The Inter-City railway station offers travel from London in about 90 minutes.

Guest access
Double room with two easy chairs, Freeview TV, hairdryer, tea and coffee making. Bathroom has WC, shower and basin, toiletries & towels. We offer a guest's lounge with comfortable sofa and arm chair, Freeview TV, books and games. Free Wi-Fi is available. This may be slow at times due to our rural location. Breakfast is served at the large dining room table and every room has wonderful rural views. Guests are welcome to stroll in the half acre garden and say hello to our chickens. We have recently been adopted by two feral kittens – they are now house-trained but still very timid, so you probably won’t see them!

We also offer the Cream Bedroom (with an en-suite bathroom). Please see our other listing.

Other things to note
Free wi-fi is available but this may be very slow due to our rural location.
