Ron and Barb Cross are retired educators. The Cross family has enjoyed the beauty and calm of the Little North Fork of the Santiam for over 55 years. In November 2014, they had the opportunity to acquire the A-Frame cabin next to their family cabin. As one of their hobbies, they enjoy remodeling homes and this was a perfect project. They added a 400 square foot master suite and modernized the rest of the cabin. The “Treehouse” got its name from the tree design on the loft railing and the setting in the forest.
Ron is a retired Chemistry teacher and track/cross country coach. His interests include technology, science, sports, gardening, and old cars. Barb is a retired high school counselor. Her interests include quilting and needlework, and the family golden retriever Sophie.
