Very quiet neighborhood. No close neighbors. This a new house built Dec 2015. There are two rooms on Airbnb with a shared bathroom on one end of the house and I live on the other end of the house with my own bathroom.
There is a new queen bed 9/2016
My bathroom is available if the guest bathroom is tied up.
Plenty of parking and room to move about outside with good views and wildlife. I have a mushroom farm here, please ask for a tour.
It's a nice walk to the stream below my house.
This bedroom has a full size bed and a single bed. Lots of closet space.
There is a shared bathroom with the other room but usually the other room is not booked. That room has a queen bed.
I provide washcloths and towels. This room has it's own heater and its own window AC so you can adjust the temperature to your own liking. I have internet with wifi but it may be too slow for HD movies etc.
There is parking close to the front door. There is a shared bathroom with the other rented room.
Please ask to use the kitchen. There is a white refrigerator that guests can use. There is lots of ice in the black refrigerator.
Feel free to use the dining room . I have cold cereal plus almond/rice milk for guests. I provide orange juice upon asking.
Interaction with guests
Mt. bike rental and kayak rental is possible. Be happy to share traveling stories or leave you alone. I work 8-5 on weekdays and usually around here on weekends. I have lots of wildlife photography that I can show you mostly from here at the house. Say Hi to my cat Ghost Cloud although he is somewhat scared of strangers.
Other things to note
I am 5 minutes from Harrisonburg and you can find Mr. J's bagels five minutes from here that has an excellent breakfast. Food Lion and other stores are nearby. There are no close neighbors. It's very peaceful here. Lots of restaurants in Harrisonburg. Broadway/Timberville are five minutes north and have restaurants and convenience stores.
Guests that are staying weekly or monthly must leave on Saturday and Sunday from 1 PM to 5 PM .Please ask to use the kitchen. Please tell me if you want the sheets changed every day if you stay for more than one night. Please ask for extra towels etc. Pets allowed. No smoking or fires..The white refrigerator is for guests and there is plenty of ice in the black fridge. Please discard food trash, banana peelings etc in the kitchen sink as there are raccoons that tear open the trash bags or discard food trash outside where the wildlife will happily eat the food.
I like to travel and have been to Costa Rica, Mexico, Canada and traveled out west. Had a great vacation in London.
I enjoy Mt biking, kayaking, hiking, wildlife photography and growing mushrooms on this 4 acres of hilltop with a great view of the mountains.
I sell mushrooms at the local farmers market
