This house is as beautiful in real life as it is in the pictures, which is saying something. Our group had a lovely weekend in the Philmont/Hudson area and found the house to be a wonderful place for cooking, game playing, wine drinking and rest. The history of the home is clear in everything from the floorboards to the doorways - gorgeous and rustic. Young children and the elderly might struggle with lumpy floors but our party of adults found the idiosyncrasies charming. In addition to the house we had fun with the firepit in the back and the swing out front. In all a wonderful weekend.

We just had a baby and thought a month upstate would be perfect for some family bonding (and fresh air). It was one of the best decisions we ever made!! Maria's house was just perfect for what we were looking for! Super charming old farm house, with gorgeous wood floors and huge couches with Apple TV which really made those late nights kinda fun. Also the house is perfectly located between Hudson, Great Barrinton and tons of beautiful farms. Making it super easy to hit the farmers markets, the best restaurants, go antiquing, and lots of nature. Plus there is a grill to cook up all the delicious scores from the market. Maria proved to be just as stellar as a host, returning any of our questions immediately. She went out of her way to insure our stay was amazing! We couldn't be happier to introduce our little girl to the world with our stay here in Hudson Valley!! Now back to Brooklyn.......

Home is delightfully decorated and much more spacious than the photos imply. I could have spent the entire trip in the second living room with the L-shaped couch (great for naps!). Large private lot with neighbors in sight but not close. Several common stores within 30 minutes. Pleny of restaurants within 15 minutes. Check out Gabriel's right down the street. No need was unmet and Maria responds quickly to communication.

We had a lovely Memorial Day weekend at Maria’s house. The house is situated just off a main road in a small village, but it has spacious grounds surrounding the property so you don’t have neighbors right on top of you. The house is historical and it has kept a lot of its character and quirks with modern updates like central heating. The kitchen is small but functional, we had some fun home-cooked meals together and loved sitting around the dinner table. We also made good use of the firewood in the fireplaces as it was a bit of a cold and rainy weekend. Maria was very friendly and responsive and checked in with us even when she was out of town when we arrived. It was a great base for our Hudson vacay.

Maria was super helpful and really quick in answering any questions I had. Her house is charming and sweet and also right on Main Street. We stayed for Memorial Day Weekend and got to see the parade in town. (but if you want a lot of privacy it might not be so good). All the rooms are comfortable and cozy but the kitchen can get really hot when you cook. It's a really quick drive to Hudson so you're close to really nice restaurants and shops! All in all great stay!

What a perfect getaway. The house exceeded our expectations. Maria was so helpful and made our trip a breeze from local recommendations , stocked fire wood for the chilly weekend and so on. I highly recommend this spacious yet tastefully cozy home. Janine
