This was a perfect spot and location to still be able to enjoy New Orleans but stay out of the hustle and bustle of down town. Everything in description was as % described. Rodney was easy to get a hold of and prompt w/ responses. We drove in for vacation and parking was easy and accessible. There is a school across the street, so just being mindful of drop off and pick up- there was no issue. The trolley is a few blocks away, although we preferred to uber as the trolley stopped multiple times and got crowded fast. Just a personal preference, not a negative. When we go back to NOLA, I will definitely check back here first d/t all the pros it provided for our stay.

Walkable to neighborhood treats like Monkey Monkey coffee, Red Slipper brunch with Misty, and daily accessible to trolley to the French Quarter. Any and all issues that came were quickly and easily addressed. Excellent communication before, during and after our stay. Very cozy and comfortable stay and especially enjoyed relaxing on the porch rocking chairs. Overall an excellent stay and location - definitely will stay again when visiting NOLA.

We had a wonderful stay at Rodney and Marnie's! The home was clean, comfortable, and a peaceful oasis that's still very centrally located. Rodney and Marnie were friendly and responsive from the point of booking and their home was a reflection of that New Orleans hospitality. There were also guests on the other side of the home and we had no issues whatsoever with noise, shared spaces, or anything else.

Beautiful and comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood. The location was excellent for Jazzfest with convenient access to both streetcar lines. Wish we could have stayed longer! .

I am a migrant film worker making movies in New Orleans. My partner Marnie and I came here from Hollywood to work on a film and fell in love with the city. At first we were AirBNB guests, now we're AirBNB hosts. We split our time between L.A. and LA. We love to travel and spend any time we can in exotic foreign places. We enjoy meeting people from all over and hosting them in the fabulous city of New Orleans. The culture, food and history are as rich and exciting as any we've found in the world.
