A unique experience of a week of Sailing and practicing Yoga around the Mediterranean. The boats set sail from Ibiza on Saturday and returns to Ibiza Port next Saturday. The Yoga Boat will host 10 passengers including Yoga Teacher and the Captain.
The Yoga Weeks Boat, LUZIANA, is a very comfortable, 50 feet long, elegant and beautiful sailing boat, and it will accommodate up to 10 people (including the crew).
On board, you will find all facilities; kitchen, bathrooms and an inside spacious saloon area. This charming sailing boat also offers a great outdoor dining space, with very comfortable sitting area. This promises many beautiful breakfast, brunch and dinners al fresco absorbing the scents of the ocean and the surrounding landscapes.
Accommodation are on shared basis, in cabins offering the basic comfort you need for a good night of rest. For a private use please contact us.
The yoga practices will take place in different chosen beaches each morning.
Practices on the beach are particular due to the terrain, as they happen on the sand. Please do not expect a practice like you will have on your own studio back at home.
The practice will be tailored to bring sense of grounding to rebalance after the hours floating on water. We will work on introspective postures, centering the energy as well as dynamic sequences working on core, balance, and focus.
The classes will be also tailored to suit the sand element and ensure you enjoy the practice on that element.
We will also combine the yoga practices with meditation and/or other sessions in the afternoon. Both in the boat deck and in land. We will ensure we don’t miss any of the stunning sunsets that the Balearic Islands offer.
Sailing & on-board living.
During this week of sailing you will get the chance to experience life on a Sailing boat.
You will discover the life from the sea and have the possibility to access many beaches, places, and restaurants non reachable by land.
The times sailing are moments for yourself, relaxing moment or the opportunity to chat and socialise with the group.
The daily stops on land will give you the opportunity to go exploring the island, discovering local food, cities or villages.
But have in mind! Life in a boat is different than in land. It’s delicious, fun and inspiring.
But also the space is small and YOU are an essential part of the crew. That means that you will have to collaborate with the captain, the yoga teacher and the rest of the team in all duties of the boat.
Expect to be asked by the captain to help with some sails, ropes and in some manoeuvres when anchoring or at port.
Please help with preparing the meals, team work when setting up the table and rota for cleaning the dishes.
Please be mindful of the group and keep the boat tidy.
All together is fun! You will see how much you bond and the connection you create with the rest.
