The space
There are two domes on the property each with their own private parking area, deck and incredible views of the ocean.
Like most places that have more than one accommodation, sound can sometimes travel - for this reason, our property is child and pet free. Each dome is equipped with a white noise machine, although chances are all you'll hear is the ocean.
Guest access
Guests have access to a dedicated parking area, private deck and dome. Guests are also welcome to explore the property - there are blueberry bushes and apple trees!
Other things to note
- Noise -
As with many properties on the East Coast, our domes are perfectly situated along both the ocean and the road. While you might occasionally hear some noise from the road, most guests don't notice or mind. The breathtaking view and soothing sound of the ocean drown out everything else. Plus, our domes come equipped with a white noise machine, just in case!
- Dome Details -
While our domes offer five-star comfort, they are still, at their core, elaborate tents, bringing you closer to nature. On occasion in the winter, small leaks may appear near the perimeter due to freezing, thawing or condensation, but they rarely impact the living space—just a small part of the dome experience!

The Lookout Domes are located on the world-famous Lighthouse Route! Crescent Beach and Risser's Provincial Park are just a five minute drive away where you can swim, kitesurf or spend the day by the water.
Foodies love both the nearby Ploughman's Lunch and the LaHave Bakery where you can get incredible baked goods (go early!). Beachside Pizza is also nearby for a quick bite!
The historic LaHave Ferry departs every 30 minutes and is now FREE and the quickest way to Lunenburg (15 minutes). Continue on the Lighthouse Route to Mahone Bay for more shopping and sightseeing.
The large town of Bridgewater is 20 minutes away and has everything you need including shopping, groceries, movie theatre and more.
