Jean Paul's place is quite basic but the amazing pool more than makes up for this. Fantastic location as well with a 5 minute walk to the main centre of Cassis. Couple of things to note: 1. Jean Paul requires an extra 25 euros per person cash payment for towels/linen. Also, cleaning is another 25 euros in cash but this is optional. 2. The bed is quite hard and not very long for a tall person. 3. Jean Paul speaks French only so recommend using (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Translate.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Jean Paul and Marie's appartment in Cassis . The appartment is situated in a quiet residential area and a short 5 / 10 minute down hill walk to the beautiful fishing port of Cassis . Within the town there is an abundance of shops , cafe's , bars and restaurants . There are also 2 supermarkets nearby for any essentials . There is a lovely pool which leads to a small secluded beach and stunning views . The appartment is comfortable and well equipped and Jean Paul was a very welcoming and friendly host .

Lovely apartment - perfect location in Cassis. The pool is heavenly.

Very special place in Cassis! The view, the pool, the private access to the beach makes this place special! Jean Pierre was nice and respectful host. Gave us good clues to discover the city !!! Strongly recommended!!!

The space is exactly as it looks like at the photographs and it is nice. Well located and quiet - just a stone's throw from everything (Bus stops, supermarket, village center). The entrance path to the Calanque is on the other side of the center but also not far away. The view on the swimming pool and sea is not the one from your balcony but both accessable (The given key doesn't work but neighbours give you the hint how to get in). Jean Paul is a very nice guy. I guess, everything would be just wonderful if I had known that he does not unterstand English very well - what I thought in our written communications. Therefore a minus: because we agreed upon - beside the check-in regulations from 4-6 pm - that I could come at 1 pm (because of public transportation). I travel as a backpacker. On may way to Cassis I got a cancellation of this agreement. So I lost at last for hours. Not to be able to do something (hiking or boat tour) because of the luggage. That was pity - especially because the whether was incredible bright that afternoon. I recommend: try to answer Jean Paul in French to avoid any misunderstandings. ;)

We loved our stay at Jean Paul and Marie's place. We met Jean Paul and he was very kind and gave us a restaurant recommendation! The place is a 5 - 7 min walk to the port where all the restaurants and shops were. The view from the outside of the apartment is breathtaking. Thank you Jean Paul and Marie.

Jean Paul is a great host, the apartment is small, but nice close to a lovely beach. You have to pay extra 25 € for the final cleaning (if you don't do it yourself), and plus 25 € for towels, bedding etc.
