We absolutely loved our stay at Lonny and Andy's place! The room was so spacious and beautiful, the house was perfect, and to top it off breakfast was readily available for us every morning. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Minneapolis, and will definitely stay again when we come back! Thanks again

My partner Perry and I had a really wonderful relaxing 5 days (a split 2 day and 3 day stay) at Lonny & Andy's over the first weekend in September. The 3rd floor space is private and spacious, has great character and design. We had everything we needed without asking: the bathroom was well-stocked, breakfast was generous, bedding towels iron tv wifi etc. Despite being on the third floor in a (gorgeously maintained/restored) 100 year old home, the climate control kept the room perfect while the weather fluctuated, we opened windows to cricket noise and fresh air intermittently. I feel lucky to have spent a couple mornings of our stay in excellent conversation with our kind and interesting hosts, with sweet well behaved pups relaxing in our company. The house is lovely, kitchen arranged intuitively, other guests pleasant. We will definitely rent again next time we visit!

Lonnie and Andy are perfect hosts. They are helpful and comfortable to be with. The room we stayed in, the third floor, was airy, comfortable, private and very well appointed, with everything you would have at home--maybe even better! The location is excellent, minutes away by car from downtown, the Walker, the MIA, the riverfront and not too far from the airport. They provided a nice breakfast selection with good coffee. If you are interested in Craftsman design, you will find much to appreciate here. Someday, we will go back to this wonderful house.

Lonny(left): Andy and I moved to the Central Neighborhood in 2000 because of the great architecture, location and close proximity to parks, lakes and greenway cycling paths. We completely renovated the property and have hosted lots of visitors over the last 12 years. As Airbnb hosts, we look forward to meeing new people, and sharing what we love about Minneapolis. I am Personal Performance Coach and part time glass artist and painter. There are lots of examples of my work through our home as well as the work of other artists, Altman, Peter Max, Rutter and variety of painters, potters and glass artists.

We have 2 small, non shedding dogs; a Westie and a Yorkie Schnauzer mix. They are great fun and will be happy to see you as well as welcoming your dog if you are traveling with one.

We are located on Park Ave. 4 blocks from Powderhorn Park, the Swedish Institute, and less than 1 mile from Minneapolis Institute of Art. The Guthrie Theater, Warehouse District and downtown and Uptown are all within 5-10 mins. drive or a short bike ride. The bike lane runs in front of our house and the Greenway is 2 blocks away.

We are also happy to put you in touch with previous house guests so you can get a first hand experience of being a guest here. Its one thing coming from me, another coming from our guests. There have been many. I have traveled extensively for the last 20 years and know how important having comfortable accomodations can be. We will go out of our way to make you feel right at home. We regularly exceed Airbnb standards by receiving 5 star ratings 95% of the time and go out of our way to meet or exceed your expectations.
