Deep West End, Negril, where bicycles are more common than cars. Come experience the beauty ofJamaica's countryside. You will be warmly welcomed by locals and well cared for by Shakes, our onsite Rasta. Our rooms come with private bathroom, fan, mini fridge and screened patio. There is a communal Kitchen where you may experience some popular flavours of Jamaica. Our grounds are lush with flowers, fruit trees, and veggies. 420, unforgettable sunsets, the sounds of nature, star gazing...

Guest access
The entire property is yours to share. There are hammocks and a cozy firepit. We have a communal kitchen/social space for preparing your own meals, sharing a beer and hang out sessions. It is equipped with a 2 burner gas stove, pots, pans, utensils, electric kettle, toaster. Please note that this is a communal space and it is expected that you clean up after yourself as you go and keep it tidy.
Other things to note
We are situated in magical deep WestEnd, Negril in a real Jamaican community in the countryside, respectful, grateful and welcoming of tourists, although there are not very many tourists in this area. We are a short walk to the seaside (where there are many places to watch the incredible sunsets), local restaurants and shops and a 10 minute drive the world renowned 7 Mile Beach in the resort town of Negril. Less than 2 miles away from the Lighthouse and the world famous rum bar and cliff diving “Rick’s Café”.
An ideal place for those who wish to explore the culturally rich experience of the real Jamaica. From her world renowned cuisine to her vibrant music, her beautiful beaches, breathtaking waterfalls and rivers and her amazing communities!
Our property will definitely give you a real feel for the country. In the evenings, look up – the night sky is amazing without all the city lights. Fall asleep to the sound of the seaside and wake up to the sound of the roosters in the distance and the different species of tropical birds on the property.
Our onsite caretaker, Shakes "the Rasta" has an abundance of local knowledge, including the medicinal and health benefits of the various vegetation, fruits and herbs grown on and around the property...he always has a story and is ready to assist with a kind smile. We also have our friend, Boston, who is here for our cookouts and happy to assist our guests as well.
If you are happy with our caretakers’ services, which we have no doubt you will be, please please TIP. A likkle something goes a long way and is always fully appreciated.
There is a relaxed, authentic, rustic vibe in the yard. Calm and peaceful swinging on your hammock and listening to the birds and the breeze. Surrounded by flowers, fruits and natural Jamaican bushes and trees, the sounds of nature may even talk you out of even leaving the yard.
With 5 cottages (each with its own private bathroom, mini fridge and fully screened verandah), a communal kitchen/dining and social area, vegetable and herb gardens and various fruit trees, come and experience Jamaica with us. This is true country life in Jamaica.
We have our security dogs Peggy and Pretti and a few puppies. As we are situated in the beautiful Jamaican countryside/bush, we do have some bugs and critters that go alongside country life. We do not have air conditioning, but each cottage is open and airy with fans. In the winter it is very comfortable and in all seasons there is the Caribbean Sea to jump in.
Reminders:
You and staying in an AirBnB, not a hotel. Please bring your own soap, shampoo, towels, etc. There are grocery stores and local shops where you can purchase anything you may have forgotten or didn’t have room to pack.
There is NO housekeeping department but for long term stays, we will do a weekly freshen up. Each room has its own broom and general household cleaners are available if you wish to tidy up your space prior to our weekly freshen up.
