The Inn is a quarter mile down Stoney Brook Rd and we haven't a lot of neighbors! Our "neighborhood" is the magnificent Cape Breton forest lands and hillsides surrounding the Inn, as well as the picturesque Intervale River below.

The Inn on the Intervale was built by Cape Breton ex-patriot, Duncan A MacEachern and his dear friend Carole Levens in the early 2000's. They built it with (an estimated) 14 bedrooms with the expectation that their families would come visit Cape Breton more often. They did. Once Duncan passed away, his sons and their families carried on their Dad's open-house tradition by operating it as an AirBnB lodge for Cape Breton visitors. The MacEachern family have now passed on the legacy of this magical property to Brian and Laura Pells to continue it's history and traditions. We are also near some of the best golf in the world! Golf magazine has ranked Cabot Cliffs and Cabot Links #18 and #87, respectively, in the world!
