The cabin operates on a sustainable off-grid solar energy system. To help maintain power throughout your stay, we kindly ask guests to be mindful of electricity use. On cloudy or rainy days, please ensure lights are turned off when not needed, especially during the daytime, so energy is available for evening.
We do not recommend plugging any straighteners or blowdryers.
We do have lanterns for backup.

Charging multiples high-energy devices at the same time can quickly drain the system. We recommend limiting the number of phones charging simultaneously and avoiding leaving computers plugged in for extended periods, particularly if several devices are charching at once. We do not recommend.

Hi, my name is Nicole and my husband Dan are passionate about nature. During our 25 year marriage, nature has been the balance to our highs and lows. Grounding one’s self is the first step to balancing life. Our daughter Em enjoys treading off into the forest to find answers to her day. She loves the calming of lake water and all of nature's peaceful melodies. It’s with pleasure we open up our Airbnb for others to recharge.
