Keep it simple at our slice of paradise in the Fraser Canyon. Located not even 2 hours from Vancouver, the Bird’s Nest is the place to go on your next weekend getaway. Peek us on IG @birdsnestcabin! Our cozy, dog friendly (no cats though, sorry) cabin features a wood burning fireplace, a huge dining table perfect for puzzles and games, a projector with a 100” screen, jetted luxury spa tub, and even an outdoor hot tub! *Please note our booking calendar is only available 3 months in advance*

The space
Welcome to the Bird’s Nest! Our cozy, rustic oasis☺️

Enjoy the use of our full cabin.

The front door opens into our solarium. This space is not heated, but is still super cozy. Enjoy a morning coffee or curl up with a book from our library in this space!

Upstairs you’ll find the bedroom, as well as another lounge area with lots of books, 2 cozy chairs, and desk with an external monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse.

Our open concept main floor features a pull out sectional couch, huge dining table, lots of great puzzles and board games, a ceiling mounted projector equipped with Roku, and a 100” screen.

Our kitchen features ample counter space, a Keurig machine stocked with coffees and hot chocolate, a microwave and a brand new convection oven with flat top cook stove.

The bathroom features a gigantic spa like jet tub. There are no hand rails to assist in getting in or out of the tub, so please keep this in mind when booking.

Our cabins sole source of heat is from the wood burning fireplace. There are baseboard heaters in the bathroom and bedroom. Wood and kindling is provided.

Given that we are in the Fraser Canyon, we must note that the property is in close proximity to the train tracks. You will hear them going by, and we provide earplugs if you are a light sleeper :)

Guest access
You will have access to our entire cabin, as well as the use of our hot tub. We have 2 additional out buildings on the property that you will not have access to.

Other things to note
Our property is NOT wheelchair accessible, or suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Due to the nature of how rustic our space is, we feel it is also not ideal for small children. There is access to the river that guests can use at their own discretion. We would also like to note that being situated in the Fraser Canyon, our property like most, is near an active railroad, so you WILL hear trains going by.
While we are dog friendly, cats are not welcome due to allergies.

Neighbourhood highlights

At the end of our road there is a forest trail that leads to an absolutely beautiful sandy beach area. The river is not ideal for swimming, but we are a less than 10 minute drive to the scenic Lake of the Woods! A perfect spot for a swim or a kayak!
