Nice and sunny apartment with one bedroom with double bed, living room with extra single bed, kitchen, bathroom and balcony. It's extremely well located in a typical Lisbon neighborhood between S. Bento and the beautiful garden of Príncipe Real.

The space

Nice and sunny apartment with one bedroom (double bed), living room with dinner table, kitchen, bathroom and balcony with a view to the Parliament. It’s extremely well located in a typical Lisbon neighbourhood between S. Bento (where the Parliament is situated) and the beautiful garden of Príncipe Real.
The building still maintains the original tiles and wood ceiling. The decoration is a mix of pieces of my vintage collection and art works by friends.
It’s suitable for 2 people, but the sofa is convertible into an individual bed. There’s additional bed clothing for that.

Other things to note

The apartment is situated on the third floor of a building without an elevator, and the staircase is the original one which is quite steep and narrow.
As any other older house this flat has a lot of character, but also some minor issues like squeaking wood floors or old pipes that take some time to heat the water. We hope you'll like its charm, but if you're looking for super modern accommodation this might not be the place for you.

Apartment with an atmosphere and a great spirit. I wished to stay there longer. Perfect location - very calm, walking distance to the centre, tram 28 just down the sreet. A bit steeper stairs and older but clean bathroom. Inez is really nice and helpful. Thank you for a super experience!

We had a great stay at Liz's place. It is cute and cozy. Location is great and has a nice view. We walked everywhere. Close to many restaurants and shops. All in all, the apartment had everything we needed.

Just as the photos show, this space is precious!!! It is very well decorated and absolutely charming. My girlfriends and I really felt like we were getting an authentic experience of what living in one of Lisbon's older apartments would be like. As with all older homes, it has it quirks --- a tricky key, steep stairs, a limited hot water tank, and no AC. However, the apt is so well located and just so cute. We highly recommend it.

It's not the Ritz or a smart apartment, but is quirkily charming in its own way and ok for a night or two. Quaint, small and like a spartan artists loft from the 1800s (if you like that type of thing!). Situated at the very top of an old building in a narrow cobbled side-street of similar old and tall buildings in a very picturesque area. Also hilly, so all walking from the attic is either steep up or steep down. Close by are some corner shops to buy essentials when you arrive, also bars and cafes just at the end of the street. The attic was an experience! Up several very steep stairs the accommodation is old and dated with old worn furniture and fittings. An uneven creaky wooden floor and a very basic kitchen and even more basic bathroom. It has a small balcony but gives a very pretty view down to the river or opposite to the parliament building. It's ok for the price, but don't book it if you want anything resembling modern comfort or luxury ;) We did enjoy our stay in Lisbon very much and felt a strange affinity with the attic flat - reminded me of student days I guess!

Really in the city center, perfect location, nice and helpful host, fast wifi and written tipps included. All was good, but the flat was dirt: too much dust! More broadly, i would recommend it! =)

The apartment is just like in the photos. Quaint, quiet and comfortable space in a great location. You can walk most places from here, although the tram stop is at the end of the street. Warning - the apartment is at the top of three flights of rickety stairs so not for people with mobility problems or small kids. Easy communication with host.

Hi! My name is Liz and I’ve been living in this neighborhood for almost 30 years! I had several work experiences in other cities and countries, but Lisbon has a special place in my heart. I’m always coming back to this beautiful sunny city. I work in the contemporary art field, I’m the editor of a digital magazine and I write about visual arts, so I’m up to date with the cultural life in Lisbon, who has plenty to offer!
