The space

Abrams Creek is near many extraordinary recreational sites, but is also its own destination. You are never far from our wild, whitewater stream that runs through a majestic hemlock forest.
In some places, the stream is a constant source of energy and playfulness; in other places, it is peaceful and calming, inviting you to soak in its beauty. The forest offers a vast array of plants, and signs of wildlife are everywhere.

Guest access

Near the lodge house and office, there is access to a phone with free calls anywhere in the US. There is also WiFi available near the lodge/office.

Interaction with guests

Guests are welcome to interact with hosts as they choose or be as private and secluded as they wish to be. Weather permitting, we have a bonfire each Saturday night.

We did love our stay! However, the place stunk horribly and I think there is a mold problem. I also think that the mold problem was covered up with whatever the hell t put on the ceiling to cover it up (the stapled up cloth is horrible )..Checkin was a breeze! And, we did really appreciate the upgrade in space. For others looking, this is an awesome location however the accommodations are not great at all. For us, that was perfectly fine. However, in the future, I would absolutely take into consideration the fact that the price is fairly high considering what you get. Thanks!

Response from Michael:
I'm sorry that Nicole did not let us know of any problems while she was here; we could have resolved her concern or offered another cabin. We have not had any comments about smells from other guests for this cabin. These cabins are nestled in the forest, so there are many natural smells that she might have been unfamiliar with, or perhaps there was something that she was particularly sensitive to. All our properties are treated regularly with non-toxic technology to insure no mold growth can occur, so her concern there does not reflect the actual condition of the cabin.

These cabins are adorable and cozy. The area is lovely. We stayed here in order to go rock climbing at Seneca Rocks. The drive was a little far from there, but we didn't mind because the cabin was adorable and just next to a beautiful river. The host was very kind and let us use the hot shower and wifi in the guest house, as it was a cold wintery weekend. Overall, wonderful place to stay and highly recommended.

Sign in was quick and easy. The cabin was cute with lots of beds. I'd suggest you bring your own sheets. You are in the middle of the forest so expect critters. The grounds were nice and the creek is beautiful. I wish it would've been a bit warmer to enjoy it...all in all i liked it and would return.

Our cabin was really close to the river. We loved that there was a fire pit. The cabins are far enough from each other that we don't disturb others. There's porta pottys and public showers at separate locations from the cabin. In the cabin theres a fridge, microwave, beds, table, and chairs. Outside there is a grill and picnic table. It was a great short stay!
