Lascelles Terraces is a residence like no other. Rather than selecting rooms or suites we provide individual historic residences. Each curated space has been given a bespoke style that blends the heritage bones of the property with contemporary décor, Australian art and modern facilities. The space
Conveniently located in Errard Street North, you are just a moments walk from the best cafes and restaurants in town, the Ballarat CBD, the arts precincts and the lake.

This grand heritage building has been divided into two very large elegant apartments. The apartment occupies the full ground floor of this grand two storey terrace.

The #6 Ground Floor Apartment has been extensively renovated to provide luxurious decor and amenities with a beautifully restored interior. It consists of one master bedroom and a second bedroom also with a queen bed. Both the kitchen and bathroom feature quality European fittings and appliances. The property also features a pamper room with decadent bath that leads out to an landscaped entertainment zone and garden.

Designed for discerning travellers our rooms feature luxurious 1000 thread linen, wool quilts, beds with electric blankets, reverse cycle air conditioning, extensive zoned heating throughout, a fully equipped kitchen, modern fixtures with 65" LCD smart TV, Netflix, blu ray DVD player and WIFI internet.

Our residence is a popular mainstay with both leisure and corporate travellers. With Ballarat hospitals only a few minutes walk away, it is ideal for families that need to be close to their loved ones.

The home is decorated in a contemporary Australian style and features significant artworks by noted Australian artists.

Guests will enjoy a spacious self contained two bedroom apartment.

The ground floor apartment extends to a paved outdoor living area. Open the concertina doors of the pamper room to a landscaped area that comes complete with an 8 person dining and entertainment table. Use the additional sun loungers or the BBQ to cook up a storm.

Off street car parking is located at the rear of the property, but usually there is an abundance of spaces at the front of the house especially in the weekends.

Access is via a shared driveway between number 10 and 12 Errard Street North. There is a gate to access the rear of the property. To open the electronic gate press the 4 digit pin number (this will be provided to you on the day of your arrival). Feel free to park where you like but be mindful of other guests who may be parking in this area.

Other things to note
The fantastic central location places it within a couple of minutes drive of the CBD, supermarkets, restaurants, the Bridge Mall, Ballarat Central Train Station and bus interchange. Sovereign Hill is a 7 minute drive and 14 minutes from Kryal Castle.

- Five minute walk to some of the best cafes and restaurants in town such as L'Espresso, Johnny Alloo, F.I.K.A Coffee Brewsters, Moon & Mountain, Hydrant Food Hall, Forge Pizzeria, Mitchell Harris Wines, Meigas and underbar.
- 8 minute walk to the Arts Precinct.
- The bus stop is only 200 metres away outside Coles Express and opposite Mc Donalds
- A two minute drive to Lake Wendouree.
- A five minute walk to the both hospitals.

We appreciate that it is difficult finding suitable accommodation for our pets and it is important that they travel with us. This property listing welcomes house trained pets (ideally hypoallergenic) of most sizes and breeds. Maximum of 2 pets allowed per booking.

I appreciate great design and have a passion for architecture in all its forms. I'm particularly interested in restoration projects which marry the old with the new. I love sharing my projects with others and actively seek feedback from other creative souls. These beautiful houses are continually being improved and restored and all guests directly contribute to these restorations. All works have been supervised by Fletcher the Airedale and have received the four paw of approval. Fletch can be seen hard at work in a few of the property photos via our social media pages. Lascelles is co-managed by my partner Martin Shew and will be the key liaison point for any questions that you may have. During your stay
Lascelles is keyless, so this means check in is a self serve process.

Access is via an electronic key pin pad and by entering the 4 digit pin number sent by SMS on the day of your arrival (usually sent after 10am). This is when the previous guest has left and the cleaner has started re-setting the property ready for your stay. Check in is normally from 1pm.
