Unplug, unwind, and make lasting memories at Wits End Cottage, a cheerful lakefront hideaway on beautiful Darling Lake. Swim right off the lower deck, paddle across calm waters in a kayak, or sink into a hanging chair with a book and a view. This is easygoing cottage life at its best.
The space
Inside, the cottage is cozy and full of charm, with a unique bunk-bed bedroom featuring two comfortable double beds—perfect for families, couples, or close friends. Bedding is provided and laid out on the bunks (guests make up their own beds), keeping things relaxed and simple. The space blends rustic warmth with modern comfort, kitchen and bath all creating a welcoming place to recharge after a day outdoors.
Direct lake access is one of the highlights here. Morning swims, afternoon paddles, sunset reflections, and dark, star-filled skies come standard. When you’re ready to explore beyond the lake, Yarmouth is just minutes away, offering two stunning ocean beaches—Port Maitland and Mavillette—plus seafood restaurants, a working harbour, and charming coastal villages. For unforgettable stargazing, the Deep Sky Observatory is about 30 minutes away.
