Tigh na Craig (house on the rocks in Gaelic) is a colourful village home overlooking the sea. The house is owned by an artist, and so there is original artwork everywhere. There is vintage furniture everywhere. Enjoy vintage vinyl collection, dvd and cd collection, Netflix and smart tv. Free wifi access. We are 10 minutes from a train station on the "Harry Potter" railwayline to Mallaig. You can get to Glasgow airport and the city of Glasgow on our little passenger ferry and rail connection.

The space
I am an artist and live and work here but my accommodation is separate from the part occupied by guests. I offer guests , a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. You will have your own front door access, and access also to the garden and verandah. The house is centrally heated and there is a wood burning stove in the living room. I provide one basket of logs. Extra bags of logs available at £8.00 each. There is a smart tv there together with DVD, CD player and a record deck with lots of vintage vinyl. I have a Netflix account for your use. I provide tea, coffee. The decor is quirky and contemporary with vintage furniture mixed with the up-to-date. Please don't leave unnecessary lights on especially overnight as we are all trying to save the planet from over use of energy.

Guest access
Your entrance to the house is through the front door down a drive off Argyll Road. On entry to the house your very own living/diningroom is slightly to the right. At the end of the short corridor is your bedroom and bathroom. Also there is a kitchen for your exclusive use. To the left of the front door is my section of the house. Your privacy will be maintained. Please respect mine. You will have your own keys to your own front door.

Other things to note
I will leave you to your own devices, but feel free to contact me should you need anything at all. Our village has essential shopping, a cafe and pub. More shops and restaurants are accessible by 10 minute ferry ride or elsewhere on the Rosneath Peninsula where our village is situated.

Four years ago I started renting out on Airbnb. My faith in human nature has rapidly grown as I have hosted fabulous groups of people from all over the world. My art practice can continue from my studio in the garden. The setting of my home and garden lend themselves to relaxation and restoration. I am easy going, I sing and like snorkelling. You will be very welcome here.
