The Estate is a magical place, where the charm of agritourism and history blend with the comfort of technological rooms equipped with every comfort.
The 16 rooms (equipped with A/C) were built in a 1700s stone cottage surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.
It is less than 2 km from San Gimignano, also reachable with a 30-minute walk on the historic "old street".
Guests have access to the panoramic swimming pool and our restaurant Da Pode, which is located about 70 metres away.
The space
We are two sisters, Alessia and Barbara Failli, born and raised in San Gimignano, descended from a family that has run a restaurant and hotel for generations.
In 2017 we realized our dream with the purchase of Tenuta Sovestro, a farm dating back to the 18th century bordering on the family property.
We made 16 rooms with bathrooms (all equipped with air conditioning/heating) in the ancient farmhouse surrounded by our gardens, our vineyards and our olive trees and we started the production of wines and extra virgin olive oil.
On each side of the farmhouse there are beautiful views of our hills and the historic center of San Gimignano.
Our family owns a large part of a hill at the foot of San Gimignano called Sovestro and it is here that you will find our Ristorante da Pode, our Hotel Sovestro, our vineyards and olive groves and our small secluded and romantic agritourism, our Tenuta Sovestro.
A beautiful pool overlooking the hills is available for guests.
We share a smile and passion.
Barbara also takes care of the restaurant and distinguishes it with tranquility and elegance.
Alessia is pure energy and does not by chance also take care of the management of the vineyard and olive grove.
We work with the same people every year and love to see our company as a big family.
Our goal is not to make our guests feel at home, but we want to make them feel at home with friends in a Tuscan paradise on vacation.

The rooms are part of a farm with 6 hectares of vineyards and 2 hectares of olive trees.
We are located in a land of fine wines, halfway between Siena and Florence, with a thousand-year history. This is the context in which our Tenuta Sovestro was born, a young company that aims to carry on the wine-making tradition of San Gimignano, with an innovative and sustainable approach.
Let's look to the future, but they don't forget our origins.
Our wines are the result of passionate work and a deep knowledge of the territory. They are wines that tell a story, the story of a land and a people who have always loved wine.
The main wines are produced with Sangiovese grapes (the vine of Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino) and the Vernaccia di San Gimignano (the only white denomination in Tuscany), two native vines of these lands.
Our goal is to produce wines that are pleasant and intriguing, capable of giving emotions to every sip. Balanced, harmonious, fresh wines with good aromatic equipment and adequate structure. Wines that do not yearn after the first glass and that can be appreciated by everyone.

The rate includes breakfast buffet .
The rate does not include the occupancy tax of €2.50 per day per person (applicable only for the first 5 nights of the stay).
Breakfast service is provided from 7:30 am to 10:00 am at our restaurant "Da Pode" which is located about 70 meters from the room.
Guests can enjoy the two pools and the gym located about 70 meters from the property.
The closing day of our restaurant Da Pode is on Thursday. Reservation is recommended.
At the Estate, you can taste our wines.
The room is for two people, no additional people, not even children.
