We had a wonderful time! The house has so much character and we enjoyed every minute of our time there! The wifi was excellent! TV reception wasn't good at all but we weren't there to watch TV so it was perfect! The kitchen is well stocked and Maureen and Arnie were very helpful and informative! The house is about 7 miles from Cape Charles where we spent time! All in all we are definitely wanting to come back soon!

Maureen and Arnie's home was a pleasure to stay in. From the initial request to the end of our stay, communication was efficient and informative. The home was artfully decorated and immaculate, but still had a very cozy feeling. There was more than enough room for the 3 of us, with my husband and I having our own bedroom and en suite bath, and our guest having her own bedroom and bath. There were multiple places to sit, relax and read or watch TV, if you so desire. There is great water pressure, lots of hot water, and comfortable beds; good wifi also. The kitchen is well-equipped down to the details. Easy parking on the property. The home was ideal for us and close to restaurants and grocery stores. The surroundings are beautiful as well as being very quiet and peaceful. Our stay was for 2 weeks and we hope to be back again. Maureen and Arnie's home is a gem on the Eastern Shore!

This was our first airbnb experience and Maureen nailed it! The plot is beautiful, well-landscaped and secluded, and the house is perfectly cozy. They've done a great job restoring the 18th century elements and updating to modern amenities where necessary - the beach bedroom/bathroom was my favorite! Getting in and out was a breeze; Maureen gave us excellent tips for things to do - on her recommendation we went beaching, shopping and eating in Cape Charles on the sunny days and antiquing in Exmore and wine-tasting at Chatham Vineyards on the stormy days (if you do nothing else, go to the vineyard!). We absolutely felt like locals. It was a perfect first weekend back in the US post-deployment; we honestly couldn't have asked for anything better.

The host was very accommodating from the start of the booking through check out. The husband went out of his way to mail an item left behind. The house was charming and warm. We loved the cozy feeling. Located close to Cape Charles and Onancock. We would definately stay again!

This was an amazing experience for all our family. The owner was very nice and attentive to us. The house is just amazing as it is a perfect combination of stylish decor. You realize that house is old enough to have history, and is has all modern appliances you can think of. Everyone from our family found a corner where he/she was comfortable. My son, who is 3 y.o. refused to leave this house as he found lots of places where he can play and rest. We also enjoyed making breakfasts all together at the kitchen. This is right place for people who are looking for some silence and rest form busy daily routine.

My wife and I loved this historic home! It had such a warm homey feel. It was close to everything. We went to the beach everyday, which was never crowded, clean and family friendly. The entire area is beautiful, people are friendly and just a get overall get away.

It was a cute old farm house. It reminded us of an aunt and uncle's farm house in Michigan. The only complaint I had was one bed was a full and one was a queen. If you have 4 adults the full is not big enough for 2 adults. Everything else was great. The Cape Charles area is beautiful.
