Modern over 3,500 sq ft resort-quality property that can sleep up to 11 guests, on lush landscaped acre. Large living room, exceptional kitchen and dining areas, four lovely bedrooms, one office with overflow sleeping & three large bathrooms with walk in showers. Large outdoor spaces.

The space
• Comfortable and modern resort-quality property that can sleep up to 11 guests, on a fully landscaped acre. We call the property Hale E Komo Mai, the 'welcome house'.



• The Main house has a large living room with extra high ceilings, an exceptionally well designed large kitchen, convenient eating area large enough for everyone, a master bedroom wing that is delightful, and another other well equipped bedroom. The office has overflow sleeping arrangements. Also, two well equipped fully tiled bathrooms, both with large walk in showers.
• The Guest house has two spacious bedrooms, both with seating and office/dining areas. There is also a full bathroom with large walk in shower.
• The large covered lanai has a bb'q
• Large covered entertaining areas (patios) with extensive outdoor seating and dining areas.
• Large outdoor area with washing facility for getting sand off before going inside.
• Fully landscaped acre with many varieties of palms, heavenly-scented gardenia and other flowering plants, and a small orchard with orange, lemon, lime and avocado trees (in season). Located on quiet, dead end road, nestled behind private gated entry with native Ohia trees and wild orchids.

• Convenient to:
o Hilo shopping, restaurants and services
o Nearby Keaau and Pahoa towns for: farmer's markets, cafes and restaurants
o New black sand beach; Pahoa lava flow; Kalapana lava flow; Volcano National Park; Richardson Beach (whales in season)
o Local zoo; botanical gardens
o Walking/running/cycling on some 100 miles of private roads in the subdivision, with all main roads paved. Are you training for a run, bike race or triathlon? Lots of opportunities to train here!
o Free swimming every day at Pahoa and Hilo in large community pools with life guards.

o A short term rental agreement and house rules apply to all rentals (to be provided as part of the rental process)

Guest access
Guests have exclusive use of the accommodations and full use of the landscaped tropical acre and extensive outdoor seating .

Other things to note
There are no stairs and the large showers make roll-in access possible. Upon request, a shower seat and raised toilet seat are also available. Please inspect items prior to use.

As required by Hawaii regulations, please note:
(A) Quiet hours shall be from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., during which time the noise from the STVR shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors.
(B) Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area.
(C) Guest vehicles shall be parked in the designated onsite parking area (gravel parking area).
(D) The STVR shall not be used for commercial purposes.

Amazing semi rural area with a dead end red cinder road for the last half mile (paved roads to that point). Very convenient to Hilo, Keaau and Pahoa and other areas of the East side of the Big Island. The Kona side and Kohala coast is only two hours away.
