Enjoy the simplicity and privacy of this hand crafted Mongolian yurt. Set in 21 private acres on Cowley Lake, this is the perfect place to base your Yukon adventures and take time out to relax. The stunning lake and mountain views are worth the visit.

The space
Enjoy the privacy and comfort of our hand crafted Mongolian yurt. The yurt is set on a south facing deck with lake and mountain views. The yurt can sleep up to four guests and is kept warm and cosy with a simple woodstove.
The simplicity of the Yurt allows you to enjoy the beauty of the Yukon landscape at its fullest.

Guest access
Guests will have sole use of the yurt and private outhouse.
There are simple cooking amenities available in the yurt...kettle, toaster, hot plate and all the kitchen utensils you need to make a meal.
Guests are welcome to use the shower and laundry facilities in the main house between 8am and 8pm.
There is a canoe down on the lake you are welcome to take for a paddle in the summer months. Children can enjoy the outdoor play area, soccer field, playhouse and tree house.
We also offer guided day hikes through the surrounding wilderness.
During the winter months, viewing of the northern lights is a major highlight!

Other things to note
If you would like to plan an afternoon snow shoe winter adventure while you are staying, please let me know in advance. The cost per person is $85 and includes snow shoes and hot snacks and drinks. The adventure starts right outside the yurt!
If you are coming in the winter months and plan to go on a dog mushing adventure, please take the time to book before you get here to make sure you get a dog team. My favorite place to go dog mushing is Sky High Wilderness Ranch out at Fish Lake.
