Luxury camping. Get away. Hide away.

The space
Painted the door and the interior walls during our "quiet time." Added a Roku TV! We are 7 years into hosting and are enthusiastic to host guests again. :)

Quiet. Serene. Solid. Cozy. Clean. Our 12' x 18' free standing cabin has queen-sized bed and a bathroom with shower and lots of hot water. It is nestled on a hill just below our home so you have privacy and wilderness without having to hike or go without amenities. We are located between Mt. Adams and Mt. Hood so you can take advantage of what the mountains have to offer (like a great day of skiing!) without having to worry about a long drive home.
**We are pet friendly. Maximum of two pets. Thank you!**

Room includes:
--wi-fi
--Roku TV
--mini-fridge
--linens, towels, and beach towels (we use allergy-sensitive cleaners & detergents)
--full bathroom with shower
--Keurig coffee maker fully stocked with coffee, decaf, tea, and hot chocolate
--ceiling fan
--bedside clock with USB dock & outlets for easy phone charging
--private deck, great place to enjoy morning coffee or nighttime star gazing
--access to covered grilling area (with propane heater!) and grill with side burner
--maps and info on local tourist attractions and hikes
--circular driveway for easy parking
--5 miles to White Salmon, 7 miles to Hood River
Check in any time after 3 pm; check out at 11 am.

**We are a NO smoking and a NO 420 property. Violation of either of these house rules will result in an immediate $350 cleaning fee.***

We sit on 1500' of Big Buck Creek, just a short walk down from the cabin.

We are 35 miles from Mt. Hood Meadows and 25 miles Mt. Adams. Even though the state is slowly opening up, our trails for hiking and exploring are open. Access to kayaking and rafting is still limited. Will keep you updated!

**Please note: once you reserve with us, read the driving directions carefully. Please read the written driving directions as the visual landmarks we provide are very helpful. Our driveway is preceded by an uphill, gravel/dirt road (about 1/4 mile in length) that may be a bit bumpy. We have had guests drive here in vehicles from Smart cars to tricked out SUV's with no issues. Always feel free to message us with questions.

Got pets? Let us know. Maximum of 2 pets.
Please keep dogs leashed by the house, but we do have miles of trails so there are plenty of places to take your four-legged friends for a walk without leashes. Also, please keep pets off the bed. We recommend bringing some extra bedding for your pet. We do stock the cabin with dog towels.

If you have your own kayak, you can launch north of us, enjoy a ride down the White Salmon, and pull out at Northwestern Park. NW Park is less than a 1/3 mile to the cabin. We can assist in transportation to or from launch site.

Large driveway that circles around can easily accommodate RV's, campers, and horse trailers.

Guest access
Grilling area, trail down to Big Buck Creek

Other things to note
You may be greeted by Phoebe and Scruffy, our 2 rescue dogs. Phoebe is a black and tan rottie-lab mix and Scruffy is a white jack russel/maltese mix. They may bark, but they are harmless. If they are outside, it means that we are somewhere close by. :)

We love the active, healthy lifestyle of the Gorge. My husband and I have been married 25 years and we are both US Marine Corps veterans. We have 3 amazing children and a mix of indoor and outdoor pets. We love the Airbnb hosting platform because it allows us to meet so many interesting people doing interesting things. Blessed to be living on an amazing piece of property that is best shared with others.

During your stay
We love to meet the Guests at check-in otherwise we "wing" it. We've had a few guests join us on the deck for a drink & good conversation (super fun), but we like to respect the Guest's privacy. The cabin is separate from the house so it allows Guests to come & go at their leisure.
