While your glamping site is completely private for you, Bossa Nova is a shared property. There is a separate lakehouse that is also rented to guests, located higher on the hill. While you may see or hear other travelers in the distance, your cabin, hot tub, viewing area, and outdoor amenities are for your exclusive use. Many guests love the balance of privacy with the peace of mind that others are nearby.

‼️IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE GLAMPING EXPERIENCE ‼️
🔔 Shared Property Notice:
Our property has been thoughtfully designed for multiple rentals. While your glamping site is *completely private to you*, you may occasionally see or hear guests from the main lodge about 50 feet uphill.
Signage clearly marks which areas are reserved for glamping guests. All guests are asked to respect each other’s privacy.
🚗 Parking:
Parking for up to 2 vehicles is available near the lodge.
Please note: It's a short downhill walk to reach your cabin. Full directions are provided in your arrival guide after booking.
🚻 Bathroom Facilities:
Your glamping cabin comes with a private, unshared porta potty, emptied weekly and cleaned between every guest. Cleanliness is our top priority!
🌳 Rustic Setting Reminder:
Enjoy nature's beauty — but please know this is a *true outdoor experience.* You may encounter insects, dandelion fluff, and other natural elements.
Bug spray is provided, but we recommend bringing your own for added comfort.
🗑️ Food Waste Management:
The outdoor kitchen has running water, but it’s **not equipped for food waste** plumbing.
👉 Please dispose of all food waste in the garbage bins provided — and remember to pack out what you pack in.
🦌 Wildlife Awareness:
Mostly deer may wander through! Always store food securely and supervise children outdoors.
🏞️ Lake Access:
- White Lake is a short walk from your cabin — ideal for kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, or fishing.
- **Note:** The lake is *not suitable for swimming* — but beautiful swimming beaches are less than 5 minutes away by car!
We encourage you to bring your own water toys for summer fun.
🤫 Community Quiet Hours:
Please help us preserve the peaceful nature of the area by respecting quiet hours between **8 PM and 9 AM**.
Music is welcome during the day — but please keep it at a reasonable volume.
🔥 Campfire Policy:
A propane fire bowl is provided for cozy fires (propane included).
**Wood fires are not permitted** for safety reasons. Always ensure the fire bowl is fully extinguished before bed or leaving the property.
💧 Water Conservation:
Water is precious! Please help us conserve by taking shorter showers and turning off taps when not in use.
