Trullo Agnello is located in an ancient olive grove. The typical circular house which was completely restored in 2014 with authentic materials.

Trullo Agnello is the perfect place to stay if you're looking for a peaceful encounter with unspoiled nature.

The space

Trullo Agnello is a sitting room / bedroom in the authentic trullo of the house with its own large bathroom. The Trullo is 200 years old and was restored in 2014 completely with authentic materials. You sleep in a comfortable bed and have a cozy sitting area with a 2 person sofa and TV. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and antique sink with looks out on the garden.

You have a private entrance with a private terrace, a covered porch with comfortable seating where you can enjoy breakfast.

There are sunbeds, hammocks and cozy seats. The site is more than a hectare fully fenced with ancient authentic stones that are so typical of Puglia. Depending on the season you are picking figs, cherries, plums, prickly pears, pears, lemons, walnuts, almonds, apricots etc.

We find it important that you feel at home.

Other things to note

You'll stay in the countryside not far from Ostuni and Ceglie Messapica where everything is what you need: supermarkets, shops, restaurants and coffee bars, hospital etc. Ostuni is a vibrant city where many tourists in the summer months go because of the nightlife, concerts and festivals but also because of the beautiful "centro storico" and the beautiful location. Ceglie Messapica is certainly as beautiful as Ostuni but more quiet. This town is famous for the delicious food. Here you find so many Osteria's where you eat delicious meals with the famous Pugliese antipasti for a more than reasonable price. The distance to the beach is 14 km. Here you have the choice between trendy beaches with sun beds and cocktails or more hidden bays.

We had an awesome stay at Trullo Agnello, Pauline and Will are great hosts, always available and very accommodating. The trullo is very clean, bathroom is very spacious, outside cooking kitchen is a very big plus. We used the pool every day to cool down and enjoy the sun. We strongly recommend Pauline's trullo and we would definitely go back, this was one of the best airbnb we ever stayed at.

By far the lovliest place we stayed during our trip to Puglia. Pauline and her husband were incredibly welcoming and their home beautiful and incredibly relaxing. Highly recommended!!

Staying in the trullo was really a very magical experience. Pauline and her husband have gone to great lengths to make their accommodation a relaxing haven. It is clear that every detail was thought through, it is well curated and every decision they made when designing the grounds seems very intentional. It's incredibly beautiful. The location is great, with access to many wonderful sites and towns. We made visits to Ostuni, Alberobello, Ceglie Messapica, Polignano A Mare, Pilone etc and all were very drivable. Pauline and Will gave us our space but were quick to respond if needed. We enjoyed the small outdoor kitchen, which had everything we needed. Perhaps the only complaint would be somewhat poor wifi (though manageable). I think, however, that this is more reflective of internet service in Italy in general, and less of this Airbnb specifically. We had a wonderful 6 night stay and left wishing it had been longer. We felt very inspired by the lovely space they have created. Book it if available! We'd definitely come back.

We loved staying in this beautiful Trullo! The gardens surrounding it are beautiful, we loved sitting outside with a glass of wine watching the stars! Pauline is a wonderful host- recommending good restaurants, beaches, towns and even offering us wine and cake! The location here is great- you are close to ostuni but also close to beaches. we would definitely recommend staying here! X

We haven't had the chance to meet Pauline in person as she was away for that week but the communication with her has been very easy and friendly. Her daughter welcomed us and has been available the entire stay for any question or need. Ieke and Pauline have a great gift in making feel people at home and to make the stay very special. They also offered us a bottle of prosecco for our wedding anniversary!! How sweet is that? The trullo is really stunning and the entire area is dreamlike. Thank you very much again to both of them: we miss you already!

We had the best time at Trullo Agnello! The whole property is beautifully restored, and there's lovingly added touches everywhere - a little garland of seashells by the pool, some beautiful old wine jugs in the sitting area, colourful glass lanterns here and there... There are two other rental units on the same property, and the family lives there as well, so there's some shared spaces (swimming pool and a lovely shared open area), but Trullo Agnello comes with its own outdoors kitchen and sitting/dining area. We thought we'd tour the area to see a few things, but ended up mostly staying on the property relaxing - which was a very good decision :) Pauline was a great host and we're hoping to be back soon!
