New, bright and fresh! The Beacon House is situated in the trendy Wellington neighborhood of Prince Edward County. Newly renovated and centrally located with panoramic views of Lake Ontario, Wellington Bay and West Lake. This Rental unit is located on the second floor of the Duke of Wellington Restaurant and is walking distance to several PEC hotspots!
This unit does not have a yard, but it does have a lovely large balcony to watch the boats in the harbour.
The Beacon House is a newly finished, open concept space located on the second floor of a popular Wellington family restaurant. It is the first time this space has been opened up to the public and it has the most stunning water views!
The property is a short walk to restaurants, grocery store and boutique shopping. It is also a short drive from the Hillier region wineries.
You can see the Sandbanks and Sand Dunes from the balcony (but you will need a car to get there). There is no access to the back yard and therefore NO BBQ. There is a lovely balcony for you to use during your stay!
The house comes all set for your use, beds are made and towels are in each bathroom.
3 night minimum for Canadian Long weekends
Guests have access to the entire second level, 3200 square feet of space! As well as the second floor balcony. The restaurant has the entire main level of the property and so The Beacon has no outdoor lawn space or water access. There is a public beach within walking distance as well as a park!
There are only 3 parking spots included with the property (additional parking is located in municipal free parking....please inquire)
Interaction with guests
We are available to our guests, but do not live on site. We are happy to assist guests with anything they need, but are not going to hover!
The restaurant on the main floor is NOT associated with The Beacon...during your stay, kindly direct any questions or concerns to the phone numbers provided.
Other things to note
This house is located above a family restaurant, which is open from noon until 10pm-ish. It's NOT a bar/club/loud place but there will be the associated hustle and bustle of a restaurant.
There are only 3 parking spaces available for this property but parking is available off site (please inquire).
There is no BBQ with this rental.
Canadian Holiday weekends are a 3 night minimum.
We have a list of "House Rules" in an information booklet in the foyer. We also ask that you respect the neighbors and the restaurant downstairs.
The Beacon is non-smoking. Guests may smoke in the parking lot, NOT on the balcony.
Please complete the check out checklist before you leave. In terms of tidiness, leave the house how you left it. Our cleaners will do laundry and clean floors etc.
Cancel up to 7 days before your trip and get a 50% refund. Cancel within 7 days of your trip and the reservation is non-refundable.
