The space
Quiet, comfortable cottage with a small garden and a large shady tree. You can sit on the stoep to smoke.
Winter-time there's a fire in the sitting room and an electric under blanket on the bed. The duvet is hypoallergenic (a euphemism for man made fiber). There's hanging space on the door and shelving for anything else you need to unpack. There's a desk and chair. You will have a bathroom to yourself, shower, toilet and tiny basin. I'll provide towels.

Guest access
The back of the house is private.
Tea and coffee in abundance, but no breakfast. There are many local cafés round the corner offering a range of food.

There is a resident cat.
The wifi can be slow sometimes - the weather or a Mercury retrograde are the likely causes for this, never the provider... So, big downloads are not a good idea.

Observatory is a small suburb close to the City and has a popular and functioning 'High Street' called Lower Main Road - with restaurants (sushi, pizza, local cuisine among others), bars (pool tables), cafés, caffies (our name for the corner shop or convenience store), a very friendly bookshop and a supermarket. LMR is a 5 minute stroll from the house.
