Self check-in

Check yourself in with the smartlock.
Surrounded by forest on one side and panoramic views of the valley and mountains on the other, The Lodge is the ultimate mountain getaway. Located directly on the Powderkeg Ski Hill trails are literally in your backyard and town is a 5 minute walk away. The Lodge also makes a great base to explore resorts and Parks within an hour's drive, such as Fernie, Castle Mountain and Waterton Lakes National Park. Or, just kick back on the wrap around deck or soak in the hot tub out back in the forest.

The space
The Crowsnest Lodge is a Knotty Pines designed nordic inspired cabin. It is the top floor of an up/down duplex, with its own private entrance, back and front deck and outdoor space.

The forested back area is perfect for bbq'ing or relaxing in the hot tub.
The front deck offers 180* panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains.

The living area of the cabin has a full kitchen and living room and is an open space with lofted views out past the balcony to the valley and mountains. Wood ceilings and floors give it a nordic cabin feel. The back deck is in the forest and is quiet and ideal for bbq'ing.

Three bedrooms with lofted ceilings and large dining table, comfortably accommodate 6 people (2 people in each room). *if you have more than 6 people, please let us know and we will accommodate for an additional fee.

Guest access
Parking is on the left hand side, in front of the garage. Extra vehicles (more than 2) can park on the side of the large, empty pad across the street.
Guests have access to the Crowsnest Lodge from a stairway in the garage up to the back deck and door (sign outside doors).
There is storage for skis/bikes inside the garage, shed or boot room in the Lodge.
-The hot tub is on the back deck and is shared, from time to time, with guests in the Roost suite (max 2 people).
Please press jets in advance of use.
-please let us know if you’d like to use The fire pit. It is accessed from the right off of the back deck. -There are rustic, rock rock steps and a wooden railing leading to the fire pit. Please be careful on the steps and of the back end of the fire pit as the edge can be soft.
Help yourself to the wood pile and use at your own risk. Please extinguish fire before leaving the area.

Other things to note
Hot tub: please follow rules on sign inside the front door.
In summer, push the Jet button, 30 minutes before you get in to reach the temperature of 102F.
This is a Japanese, cedar soaking tub from Backcountry and therefore only has one jet. It has a pleasant aroma of cedar from the cedar benches and step. Cedar tannins will also colour the water brownish but this is normal and not harmful.
We do charge $500 extra for any repairs or damages to the hot tub such as having to refill it; clean it because of food or other material in it; repair lining.

There is a back deck to bbq and enjoy the forest.

Fire pit: accessed by rustic rocks stairs, lights can be plugged in to illuminate. Help yourself to firewood and please extinguish before you leave the area. There is a green watering jug yo fill with water on the deck. Careful for the back edge as it is still settling in and soft. Use at your own risk.

Parking for two cars on LHS (one behind the other) in front of garage. Others can park on the street across from The Lodge.

Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
