Interaction with guests
We wont be there but will be available on the phone at any time you need us. On some occasions we may be able to meet you on arrival to show you around.
Our house is located near Streatham and Streatham Common Stations. The area has developed a nice local community feeling in recent years and with that quite a few new pubs and cafes have opened. A two minute walk away you will find Streatham Common Park, but best of all - at the top of Streatham Common you will find the Rookery, a charming little garden and great views over South London. Shopping is convenient with a large Sainsburys three minutes walk away and a Tescos five minutes walk
There are very frequent trains to central London from both Streatham Common and Streatham Station. Getting to Streatham Common from Gatwick Airport is easier by train than taxi and only takes about 35 minutes.
There are many buses straight into Central London from Streatham High Road which is 2 mins from us. The 159 bus will take you straight to Big Ben or the West End.
If you download the Uber app its a very affordable way to travel by taxi, half the price of normal taxis.
Other things to note
There is on street free parking.
The ususal stuff, no smoking indoors, be respectful to our house and our neighbours,
Not a party house.
We have a white carpet from the stairs and upstairs, so no shoes please!

We're a couple with 2 young children, Alia and Hannah. Lou is Danish and Shaff is British (of Indian Origin). Lou is a social worker and Shaff is a Children's Service manager and the founder of community sharing website (email hidden). In our spare time, Lou makes handmade children's clothes (scandi style) and Shaff makes documentary films. We like to keep busy and take the children out a lot.
