The space
Cotton Cove Estate offers the tranquility and serenity of a far away luxury resort only 25 minutes from downtown Vancouver.

Designed in 1941, Cotton Cove Estate is rated Vancouver's best residential waterfront treasures and most sought after mansions in British Columbia. Nestled in a private cove adjacent to Grebe Islets with its English style Gardens, this dream property rolls onto 1.7 acres of B.C.'s most coveted lush green oceanfront landscapes. A heated in-ground pool overlooking the ocean is half ringed by its own private beach. The luxurious property extends far beyond its perimeters, as its panoramic views reach as far as Vancouver Island.

The Mansion
The construction of the Cotton Cove Estate mansion is a refined example of the Grande Tudor Revival style. The Tudor Revival style includes finely designed detail illustrated by traditional herringbone brick nogging by the entry and steeply pitched roofs.

For six decades, the Cotton Cove Estate mansion has maintained and preserved much of its original style. Its Grande Tudor Revival theme lends an elegant air while maintaining the humble atmosphere of everyday living.

The child friendly, 7,724 square feet, 2 storey, 3 finished levels, 15 room, 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom residence with balconies and a finished basement also includes a self-contained Estate Manager suite and 3-car garage.

Situated on the West Vancouver coastline, the Cotton Cove Estate offers the tranquility and serenity of a far away luxury resort only minutes from downtown Vancouver. Similar to neighboring properties, the estate embraces 1.7 acres of fertile land.

The property includes rolling lawns and a heated in-ground pool overlooking the ocean. These exquisite views of the open ocean and rolling waves surround you while enjoying this truly unique property.

This dream location allows you to enjoy privacy while having access to a wonderful community of shops and fine restaurants.

Guest access
Guests will be able to enjoy the use of the entire Main house, child friendly outdoor play area, heated waterfront swimming pool in the summer, and sauna.

Location

West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

West Vancouver is mainly a residential district attracting families, retirees and elite B.C. residents. A 25-block strip of Marine Drive serves as a commercial district, featuring quaint shops, small offices, garages and gas stations, restaurants, banks, and other common amenities.

This area is commonly known as ‘Ambleside', with a one-block section separated from the rest known as ‘Dundarave'. West Vancouver is also home to Park Royal Shopping Centre, Canada's first mall. Opened in the 1950s, Park Royal now consumes 2km on both sides of Marine Drive near North Vancouver. Park Royal is also known as the largest mall on the North Shore and has some of Vancouver's best shopping. The Blue Bus and North Vancouver Translink buses, with terminus within the mall, offer easy access for Capilano College students travelling to and from college.

Ambleside Park and the 15-block West Vancouver Seawall are popular spots for families, athletes and outdoor enthusiasts. Whytecliff Park is regarded as one of the best scuba diving spots in Western Canada. The District has many small parks, as well as Lighthouse Park at Point Atkinson, which contains some old-growth forests. Views of Vancouver from downtown to Point Grey are breathtaking. This is the boundary-point between English Bay and the Strait of Georgia.

West Vancouver has several public recreation facilities including 18-hole par 3 golf courses, a pool, an ice rink, and basketball and tennis courts, skateboard parks and numerous public parks. The new West Vancouver Community Centre (or WVCC) was rebuilt and opened Spring 2009. West Vancouver is also home to Cypress Provincial Park with mountain biking trails and a large ski and snowboard facility, which served as one of the venues for the 2010 Winter Olympics.

West Vancouver is also host to some of the nation's most progressive public and private learning facilities.

I grew up in Toronto and fell in love with the mountains and the ocean the first time I visited Vancouver in the 90's. I always knew that I would find my way back, and jumped at the first opportunity to move here 10 years ago. I love spending my spare time hiking, golfing, traveling, eating good food and watching films.
