Cosy, lots of light, all mod cons right in the heart of Crouch End (less than 30mins to central). Super chilled surrounded by boutique shops, bars, restaurants, cafes and an arthouse cinema. Close proximity to Alexandra Palace and Hampstead Heath.
The flat is bright and spacious with high walls to the ceiling that is has stuccoed patterns. Due to big windows all of the rooms are blessed with natural sun light most of the day and whilst both bedrooms have light carpets the lounge and kitchen has a wooden floor.
Most of the furniture are wooden and there are quite a few plants so nature is part of the place. In the lounge there's room for chilling on the sofa in front of the TV or having a nice dinner or breakfast around a table if you'd like. There's also space to roll out a yoga mat and start the day with a few stretches in the morning sunlight before jumping on to all of the sightseeings of the day.
The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and as it's connected to the lounge it's perfect for being social whilst having a glass of wine, relaxing and making dinner at the same time. That is, if you fancy a night in instead of going to one of the lovely restaurants around the corner.
You will have access to the entire flat.
Interaction with guests
Upon arrival there will be fresh flowers, fresh towels, city maps + recommendations to apps and a guide to little local discoveries such as the Sunday market and things to do. There will also be a bunch of recommendations on where to eat or what to do in to the wider London. These recommendations all come in English, Danish and Spanish. We also hold a little selection of books that you are free to read during your stay.
There's a yoga mat and little dumbbells available to you if you fancy a little workout inside the house. Otherwise there is a Virgin Active gym with steam room, sauna, a pool and whatever else a gym has to offer located 1 minute from the flat and if you tell us in advance, we might be able to arrange for guest passes.
Other things to note
The area is family friendly and there is never noise from the street during the night as the flat is tugged in, in one of the side streets.
We wish that you treat the house with care and respect as you would your own home. Think of our home as a dear friend's place where you should feel very welcome and will be naturally mindful of the things in it.
I'm a traveller at heart, born and raised in Scandinavia and currently living in London. I'm a fitness instructor and a life coach advising women on how to achieve optimal health through happy and heart desired living.
I've travelled to many places around the world using either airbnb or working on a project at the destination. Some of my favourite places are bali, Australia, Iceland, Mexico and Nepal.
Best travel tip: Ask your network if anyone has a friend that live at your travel destination or find a business/organisation/hotel etc. that have something in common before you go. Then meet up with them when you arrive and get the best tips for an authentic experience and possible a new friend.
Since I've travelled quite a lot myself I know how important it is to get what you want out of a stay somewhere. I therefore always do my best to help people get what they want out of their stays.
