Interaction with guests
If guests want to visit, I am receptive, friendly, and interested in the people coming to Santa Barbara and staying in my home. However, I like to afford folks their privacy as well and will usually not knock on your door, except to check in and make sure you are happy. I can also leave it up to the guests to approach me in consideration of their wants and needs...
Other things to note
Please park in the back third of the driveway in consideration of the neighborhood and ease for you...
Price includes Santa Barbara's enforced Transient Hotel Tax of 12% plus guest over night tax of $2 per night.
I ask that you don't wear shoes in the room since the carpets are wool and tar is an issue here. I try to keep the room really clean.
We have a small free range rabbit that sometimes roams the other side of the yard.
I will consider a small clean dog.
No smoking on the property please.
I consider myself an outdoors person, happiest in nature, and rejuvenated in a natural environment. I feel so grateful living in beautiful Santa Barbara and want you to have a wonderful experience here as well. Please check in and advise me if there is anything extra I can do to accommodate you on your vacation stay!
A little about me.. I am from Northern Calif. and have lived here now for 17 years.
I am often busy parenting my incredible 12 year old daughter in an enriching community that surrounds us.
I enjoy doing anything creative: making art, usually ceramics, acrylic painting, and gardening. We have fun taking my '61 Airstream Bambi up the coast to Big Sur and Santa Cruz for camping and hiking. We also love adventuring in Mammoth. We try and visit my roots and friends in Marin County, CA. whenever we can.
I like to cycle, swim and long-board too.
I am curious about what my guests are up to in SB! Hope you might want to share a little about yourselves while you are here.
