Tobique Traditions Glamping offers an eco-friendly escape on the Tobique River. This solar-powered retreat combines modern comfort with nature. Guests stay in glamping tents with essentials, minimizing the carbon footprint. The serene setting, surrounded by forests & tranquil waters, is perfect for nature lovers and relaxation. Two tents share a bathroom with a full shower, outdoor sink, and incineration toilet, which functions like a regular toilet but incinerates waste instead of using water.

Guests have access to a shared bathroom facility with a shower and an incineration toilet, ensuring convenience while minimizing environmental impact. Enjoy a serene, eco-friendly escape on the Tobique River.

Guests at Tobique Traditions Glamping enjoy direct access to the beautiful Tobique River, with beach chairs provided for relaxing by the water. For adventure enthusiasts, canoe and kayak rentals are available for rent with transportation one way, along withthe rental of a propane fire pit with propane for cozy evenings. A variety of games are also provided to enhance your leisure time. Enjoy the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure in a stunning, eco-friendly setting.

Other things to note
At this time, pets are not allowed. Guests will need to walk down a wooden trail to reach the tents, with wagons provided to transport your items. Cots are available for children. Please note that WiFi is not available, and cellular service is unreliable at the tents; however, there is limited cell service at the parking area.

No smoking or vaping permitted inside or within 7 metres of the rentals.

Maximum occupancy is 3 (Army cot is available) 
The Tobique river is great for swimming, but it is at your own risk.
The glamping tents are in the forest, we ask you to stay on the paths and avoid walking through the foliage.

What to bring:
Appropriate footwear as you will have to walk down a hill to your site.  A hand pulled wagon will be provided. New for 2025, we have a golf cart to help you transport your luggage back and forth.  There will be a sign to help you and you will be sent instructions.
Your clothes, plan for cool evenings as the tents are not heated
Jacket for evenings, hat and sunglasses
Light pants and long sleeve clothing
Water shoes (so that you can enjoy the Tobique river!)
Swimsuit for swimming in the river
All food and beverages
Cooler with ice (it's preferable if it has a latch to keep it closed)
Sunscreen and aloe
Bug spray (there is some provided, but bring yours if you have a preference)
Downloaded music and a small speaker
Chargers (you will have a solar powered inverter)

Available add-ons payable upon arrival:
Kayak with life jackets, with transportation one way $40 (total for 2)
Fire pit with propane tank (20Ilbs) $20
