Situated in tranquil bushland, just 7 minutes by car from the vibrant township of Castlemaine, this warm and inviting solar-powered mud-brick cottage is just the place to relax and unwind. Discover the local wildlife and treat yourself to peaceful bush walks.
In the early mornings and evenings you may see kangaroos grazing. There are also many different bird species including kookaburras, cockatoos and rosellas. For coffee lovers and ardent shoppers, Castlemaine, Daylesford and Hepburn Springs are all within easy reach.
Guests are free to roam the property and surrounding bushland, apart from the owner's home area and workshop.
Interaction with guests
I love to meet you and put a face to a name when you check in, so if I'm around I'll come and say hello when you arrive. If you need help with directions, recommendations or information, I'll be happy to assist you.

Hi, I live in central Victoria with my husband Zon and our daughter on a secluded bush property which runs on stand-alone solar power. Our combined interests include a love of mud-brick and timber building, a bit of gardening, art and craft and visiting various family who are flung far and wide!
