Beautiful mountain views with a bubbling creek through the back yard, just 4 miles from Breckenridge and walking distance to numerous world-class skiing and hiking trails. Newly renovated with a spacious new deck and open floor plan with a cook's kitchen and large downstairs area for lounging, game nights, exercise, or working remotely.

The space
The LOCATION! Enjoy the serenity of our Blue River neighborhood while still just minutes from all Breckenridge has to offer. The Pennsylvania Creek flows through our back yard with the wetlands on the other side, so it's not uncommon for moose and deer to travel through or stop and graze in and around our yard.

The layout of the home is very open. The second floor is the primary living space, providing the best views from the best rooms. On this level, you'll find:

* Kitchen - a true 'cook's kitchen' with all new appliances and a huge island for multiple cooks and four barstools.

*. Main Living Space - gas fireplace, comfy couch, two recliners, a new 55" Google TV

*. Dining Area - large dining table that seats eight with great views

* Upper Deck - Lounge furniture, a gas grill, and small additional table seating area - great for morning coffee, evening cocktails, enjoying the sights/sounds of the creek and birds, mountain views by day and star gazing at night. Note: Blue River encourages residents and guests to embrace the darkness at night to allow the animals the most natural habitat -- an added benefit is the breathtaking sky when it's so dark you can SEE the stars like you may never have before!

*. Master Bedroom Ensuite - Large room king-size bed and great mountain views. Newly renovated bathroom with walk-in shower and separate DEEP soaking tub. Lots of closet and storage space, and a 48" Roku TV that folds up to the ceiling to not block the view, then (via remote control) folds down for viewing at night.

*. Bedroom 2 - "The Blue Bedroom" - Queen size bed and wall-mounted 40" TV, ample closet space, and great views.

*. Bedroom 3 - "The Green Bedroom" - Cozy room with a queen size bed and wall-mounted 40" TV, book shelves, and ample closet space.

*. Hall Bath - Newly renovated with tub/shower. Can be shared by guests in Bedrooms 2 and 3

The home can comfortably accommodate six people in three well-appointed bedrooms on the main (upper) level. There's an additional bed (sleeper sofa) downstairs in a large open multi-use area. The sleeper sofa isn't as comfortable as a real bed, but will work well for kids and/or those who aren't terribly particular. The downstairs area is an open approximately 800 square feet! It can be used in various ways to fit your needs:

* Remote Workspace - large desk with comfortable chair and basic office supplies including a printer

* Exercise Area - BowFlex Velacore Bike and yoga/pilates equipment

* Game/Puzzle Space - high top table with barstools and lots of games/puzzles to choose from

*. Music Making - Guitar, keyboard, practice drum pads.....for your creative endeavors!

*. Bathroom with walk-in shower

*. Laundry Room

*. Large 2-Car Garage - no scraping windshields for you!

* Full-size washer and dryer on site
* Pool and Hot Tub Access (off site, in Breckenridge) - NOTE: These facilities close for a few weeks every spring and fall (just before/after ski season). Please check with host for specific dates if your reservation is around these times.
* This house is located at an elevation of approximately 10,000 ft. Information can be found on the CDC site regarding the potential effects of high altitude. Planning ahead and being informed can make your stay much more comfortable.

Our home is in a quiet neighborhood away from the noise and bustle of downtown Breckenridge, yet just a short 4 mile drive to Breck's Main Street. We often see moose, foxes, deer, and even an occasional bear in our yard that backs up to the wetlands and has a bubbling creek flowing through.
