If you have ever dreamed of a remote holiday away from the city then Venøy Farm is the perfect place to endure some days or weeks of stress free relaxing and exploring! Welcome!
We expect our guest to treat our house, other property, animals and the nature on the island of Venøy with respect. The house and the farm is over a 100 years old and is a part of our families and the areas history. We use a lot of time restoring and repairing our sea houses and barn, so we hope our guests understand the sentimental and historic value of our property.
All smoking inside the house is prohibited, but naturally allowed outside if an ash try is used. We can not allow dogs or any other animals because of our sheep. Last but not least we expect normal and tidy behavior. We expect you to maintain the standard of the house as it was upon arrival. If anything is broken or ruined we will take the necessary amount from the deposit.

My name is Olav J. Venø and I am the owner of Venøy Farm in Selje, Norway. I was a Navigating Officer in the Merchant Navy for twenty years and traveled the world before I took over Venøy Farm after my father. The farm has been in our family for 400 years and in my years of farming I farmed ecological wild sheep.
Today I am a pensioner, however I still have sheep and I spend my days fishing, working with our art festival and restoring the barn and the other houses on the island.
I live on the island in a house I built in 1976. The house I will letting out is the old farm house which is from 1899, however in mint condition. I will be available for information about the island and the surroundings.
Welcome to Venøy Farm!
