Welcome to Cedar Shores Cottages! Our centrally-located adjacent cottages are perfect for families and situated within walking distance to Douglas Beach (0.7 miles), and a short drive to Oval Beach, Downtown Douglas and Saugatuck, and Ox-Bow! Sip a morning coffee or enjoy an evening cocktail on the fully screened in front porches at both houses. Dine al fresco on the open air porch in the Main House.

The space
The property offers two separate, but adjacent dwellings. The main house offers 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, sleeps 8, has a full chef’s kitchen, dining and living room in addition to a wraparound porch with a fully screened in portion, with an outdoor (open air) shower. A small courtyard and shared, gated, walkway connects to the Guest House that consists of 1 bedroom/1bath, its own fully equipped kitchen, dining and living space, contained in it’s own private, fenced in area. A pull out couch allows for 4 guests to dwell in the Guest House comfortably. There are 4 off-street parking spaces and a front yard for relaxing and outdoor games. Both houses offer beach essentials (chairs, umbrella, towels, cooler).

Guest access
You will have private access to the entire Main House, Guest House and yard during your stay.

Other things to note
For guest safety and security, this property does have a front door camera (on Main House) and a camera for Guest House gate.

There are 4 parking spaces allotted for the entire house.

No pets allowed.

Please note, we are unable to accommodate bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Hi there! My husband Pete and I love traveling and are so excited to have purchased our first family vacation home in Douglas, Michigan. We have fallen in love with everything that Saugatuck-Douglas has to offer. We look forward to sharing our home with others and spending time there as a family with our son and daughter. Our kids are great travelers in training! My husband and I hope to instill our love for travel with both of them.
