The space
The exterior of this property is truly a nature lover's paradise, offering an immersive experience that brings you closer to the ocean and the beauty of the surrounding landscape. The home is perched on a gently sloping hill, providing elevated, unobstructed views of the water that make you feel as though you're right at the ocean's edge.

The expansive wrap-around deck is the perfect spot to soak in the tranquil surroundings, whether you're sipping your morning coffee, enjoying a sunset, or simply breathing in the fresh sea air. The land around the property is lush and open, inviting you to explore or simply relax in the natural beauty of Morris Island. Tall trees and well-maintained greenery frame the home, creating a serene and private atmosphere.

The spacious lawn offers plenty of room for outdoor activities, from leisurely strolls to impromptu picnics, and the proximity to the ocean means you can enjoy the soothing sounds of the waves and the invigorating scent of the saltwater. This connection to nature, combined with the stunning ocean views, makes this property a perfect retreat for those looking to unwind and reconnect with the natural world.

Guest access
The main level features a spacious living and dining area with large windows and a patio door that open up to breathtaking ocean views. The deck, which wraps around the living room and extends along the ocean-facing side of the house, provides seamless indoor-outdoor living. This allows you to step outside and enjoy the fresh sea breeze and stunning vistas right from the main floor, enhancing the overall experience of this beautiful home.

On the main level, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, perfect for preparing meals.
This floor also includes two cozy bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which has a convenient washer and dryer. The open layout and ample seating make it a great space for relaxing and entertaining. The living room has a couch that doubles as a pull-out bed to accommodate extra guests.

Accessed via a charming spiral staircase, the upper level also features an entertainment room and office, both with spectacular views, providing a serene and luxurious retreat.

This upstairs bedroom offers a private balcony with stunning ocean views and its own private half bath.

The basement is accessible near the front entry of the home. The basement level of this home offers a fully equipped bedroom featuring a comfortable queen-size bed. This additional sleeping space provides privacy and comfort, making it ideal for guests or family members who prefer a more secluded area of the house. Please note that the attached garage can be accessed via the basement, but will be locked off and is not accessible to guests, as it is used for storing supplies, and is where the furnace/electrical panel is located.

Other things to note
The shed and garage will remain locked and is not for guest use.

There is an old rock staircase leading down to the garage that we do not recommend using, and have cordoned off the area to ensure folks stay safe.

Fire's are permitted in the designated fire pit, however we please ask folks look to see if there is a ban on fires by visiting novascotia burnsafe

Guests are welcome to use the staircase and observation deck by the water, which offer fantastic views and a closer connection to the ocean. However, please note that these areas are to be used at your own discretion. The area has a strong current, and the tide rises quite high, and we recommend exercising caution as it is quite rocky. The property owner and the manager will not be held liable for any incidents or injuries that may occur while using these facilities. We encourage guests to exercise caution and enjoy these features responsibly.

If you want to launch your own kayak or boat, we recommend using the nearby boat launch at Tusket Islands Wharf, located at the end of Wharf Road on Morris Island. This public boat launch provides access to the Tusket River and surrounding waters, making it convenient for those looking to explore the area by boat or kayak.

I love basketball, tennis, adventures & spending time with my family and my dog. I'm passionate about many things, but travelling is my favourite hobby. I feel that by being a local host, I can provide experiences to those that are likeminded & love adventures. There is so much to see in this world, and I truly believe that happiness is a way of travel, not a destination.
