A charming, rustic -style space within a semi-attached cottage, situated on a beautiful acreage halfway between Winnipeg and Regina. The property is a peaceful oasis of green, surrounded by farmland. The Reid Room was named after the family who first homesteaded here in the early 19oo's. It has a queen-size bed, three-piece ensuite, Roku T.V., fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.

The space
We have a 1907 brick home with wrap around veranda surrounded by pine trees and green space. Our guests stay in a private, semi-attached cottage style building. They are welcome to walk around our quiet property, enjoying the flowers and vegetable garden.

Guest access
The room is complete with a microwave, fridge, electric kettle, coffee maker and a table and chairs. Dinnerware is available if needed. Guests will have access to out outdoor wood burning stove and a barbecue. Guests are welcome to use all our outdoor space.

The amount of interaction with guests is at our guest's own discretion. We enjoy visiting and getting to know our guests but respect their need for privacy. Our guests are invited into our formal dining room for breakfast.

Our home is situated on a secluded property and makes for a quiet and relaxing stay. Right off #1 highway, we are a close 10 minutes away from all other amenities in Virden. Just a few things Virden offers are a pool, golf course, new hockey arena, movie theatre, and several restaurants. Also of interest in the area are the Eternal Springs, and Westwood Ranch (with garden centre and mini-zoo).
A perfect location while travelling across Canada or while visiting in the area.
