The space
Welcome to Nehalem Hideaway! This house is centrally located, just minutes to the river, beach, and several cute coastal towns. It’s an excellent choice for a couple's getaway, a family retreat, or a haven for making memories with friends. We are only 3 blocks, or a short walk away from Nehalem's quaint downtown area and the Nehalem River, so we invite you to use our cruiser bikes to get into town where you will find delicious food options and local gift shops along the river.
Get ready to enjoy a variety of activities. Kelly's Marina, where you can rent a boat to catch your own crabby dinner, is a ten-minute drive. We even provide crab traps for you to take! You can also hire a local fishing guide service to help you plan a fishing expedition. If you’re feeling adventurous, we have fishing poles you can use to go on your own fishing expedition.
Want to try something new or are you already a pro? There are 4 brand new pickleball courts just 2 blocks away! We include all you need to have a fun doubles match, or your own mini tournament!
Are you looking for more of a beach getaway? Manzanita Beach is less than two miles away! We provide beach chairs, a wagon, beach blanket, boogie board, and other beach accessories to ensure you can make a day of relaxing at the beach!
If the weather has you huddled inside, don't worry. With 2 living areas and 3 well appointed bedrooms, everyone will have ample space! The master on the main has a large bathroom amenities. We have a 2 person hot tub, ping pong in the garage, Pac Man Arcade, shuffle board downstairs, board games, a library with an array of genres, wifi access, two tv's, and much more. Choosing to relax inside won't be a bore.

- The top floor has the master bedroom on the main with a cozy king bed and large full ensuite bathroom with a large closet to hang and store your personal items.
- The top floor also has the kitchen, dining area, living room with a fireplace, tv, and half bathroom. There is a door that leads out to the garage with a ping pong table, cruiser bikes, helmets, fishing poles, clam gun, crabbing gear and all the beach accessories you could ever need.
Take the stairs down to the other living space which has the shuffle board, large smart tv, Wii U, board games, and books.
- Attached to this space are two bedrooms, each has a comfortable queen bed, closet, and dresser for storage.
- There’s a full bathroom with a bath tub and a laundry room with a high capacity washer and dryer.
Relax and unwind in the various outdoor spaces. Enjoy your morning coffee on the upstairs balcony and move downstairs around the gas fireplace in the evening. Don't forget to enjoy the hot tub, which is ideal for two people.
The kitchen is fully stocked to meet your cooking and dining needs. Feel free to cook up your catch of the day on the BBQ, right out the kitchen door, or boil your crabs in a large outdoor cook pot.

Other things to note:
- There is a ring doorbell and outside security cameras around the perimeter. Any tampering with these will result in immediate removal
- This is a very quiet neighborhood. Please be respectful to our neighbors and avoid excessive noise.
- No smoking in or around the premises or additional charges will be incurred
- You can bring your boat as long as it is under 18'. It must be parked in the covered driveway.

Other things to note
The home has dual climate control, so you are able to control temperatures both upstairs and downstairs. There is also a separate private entrance for the lower portion of the home through stair access.
The hot tub is a 2 person size and left at 92 degrees. Ensure you turn up on arrival if you plan on using it.
There is a small "doggy door" on lower patio where hot tub is. This allows pets to access both inside that hot tub room and small fenced outside area.
