The space

Enjoy a few days by the seaside in Brighton - we are walking distance to the town centre, the vibrant North Laine community and seafront, and with easy access to the Universities.
Come for the Brighton Festival, University graduation days, Pride, conferences, or for a traditional seaside break!

By the Hanover neighbourhood, with many of the best pubs in Brighton, for live music, excellent food and excellent local beers (Harveys of Lewes and Dark Star brewed here in Brighton).

Our rooms are bright and sunny, with private shower room (shared between the two). Stunning views across the South Downs and the sea from both sides - on a clear day as far as the Isle of Wight. Lovely comfy beds, new feather and down pillows and duvets (we have polyester available too, if you prefer), freshly laundered bedlinen and large fluffy Egyptian cotton towels.

Breakfast can be taken in the dining room, or out on the patio in the warmer months. You can go for full English (carne or veggie- £5 per head), or select from fresh good bread (excellent local French patisserie) with home made marmalade and jams, fresh fruit, selection of yogurts, cereals (wholefood muesli and Kelloggs), selection of cheese, freshly made coffee, tea, etc. We love good food, and enjoy sourcing and providing the best that local producers have to offer.

We love having people to stay, and love to make our guests comfortable and welcome. We are happy to offer extras, such as evening meal, laundry service and station collection / drop off - just let us know.

Guests are welcome to join us in the sitting room, with TV (Virgin XL package) and toasty log and coal fire.

NB We accept weekly and monthly bookings - please ask for rates.

I am cheerful, warm and love being with people. I love working freelance as a Bookkeeper, and like to do more creative things in my free time. I really enjoy cooking and have a keen interest in food, and grow some of my own veg in the garden here. I enjoy cycling and walking…
